1 week update
Did you clear the change from Premier to regular protein powder in juice, soup and yogurt with your surgeon? Every program is different, but my program required a liquid meal replacement like Premier that met a certain nutrition profile. I hated the protein shakes too, but I drank them like medicine. Sometimes it helped to dilute them with water. Once I got off of them, I never looked back. I haven't had a protein shake since 2 weeks after surgery, but I choked them down when I had to.
Glad everything else is going well!

Congrats on your loss thus far. I had the same issue with the "Vanilla" Premier drinks, but for some reason the "Strawberry" flavor doesn't make me nauseous. Have you tried using the individual packets of Crystal Light? I've found that it helps me a bit. Keep up the good work!

THE COUNTDOWN TO 200LBS LOST HAS BEGUN...5LBS TO GO!
Good for you! The chocolate shake was the only one I could tolerate right after surgery, but now I like them all, heated up and mixed with my coffee in the morning.
Juice? Is it the diet cranberry juice? Regular juice is strictly outlawed on my plan. I also have a hard time post-rny drinking plain water, so I mix the diet cranberry juices in, only takes 1/2 cup or so for 24 ounces of water and then I can drink plenty. They have so many flavors now - cran-mango, cran-raspberry, cran-lemonade, cran-pineapple, cran-grape. I love them all, and I can usually find them at my grocery store 2 for $4. I also carry the small bottles of diet cranberry juice in my car for emergencies.
You might try Syntrax. I love the Fuzzy Navel - mix with water and it is not milky like the Premier Protein drinks. Tastes mostly like a peachy orange juice, and 23 grams protein for one scoop. And I used the Unjury chicken protein powder in the beginning, really helped me get my protein up.
Glad you are doing so well!

We don't have all the options you have up here but I am going to look for something to replace the juice. My centre does actually allow allow diluted juice during the liquid stage but I'm going to look for a replacement - probably today. I don't think we have Syntrax here but there are some other brands that sound similar. I'm going to look for those as well.
For Premier Protein, we can only get chocolate or vanilla. And I haven't seen any soup style protein. I'm making chicken broth this afternoon and I will use the unflavoured protein in it. :) Thanks for the tips!
RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
So sad! You can't get Syntrax or Unjury? I would totally get it for you but idk how to ship anything to Canada. Those two things saved my life right after surgery. And you don't have diet cranberry juice? Yikes. You are deprived up there... but we are going to have a lunatic orange monster running our country starting tomorrow, so I guess I shouldn't judge.

Awesome on down 13 in 7 days and 25 overall, wicked job girl! And your coast is lose already, wow!
We might have to move up our "meet up" date sooner. I have a bunch of stuff I am going to give you. Protein Chicken & Beef soup, Protein Hot Chocolate, I have a couple of those Syntrax flavours and a few other goodies up my sleeve. I am not sure if you remember that I posted a while ago that cuz we are in Canada I order stuff online from "Nashua Nutrition". They ship to Canada. They have most of the products our lovely American friends talk about on here.
Any of the crystal light are good, look at any grocery store, but Walmart is great for the selection but they have the "Mio" stuff. I can't remember what aisle they are in but they have them all!!! Just pick some flavours you like. They will be at the grocery store your hubby works at, in the section where they sell Koolaid I think. SF popsicles count towards water.
Soup, SF applesauce, SF pudding, yogurt, cottage cheese are all things you can put your unflavoured protein powder in.
Glad you like MFP! I love that site!
Lets talk offline and find a meet up date so I can give you some goodies!!
So happy for you, you are doing awesome!! It takes time and you are doing so good!!
