Finally a surgery date!!
My surgery has tentatively been scheduled for February 23rd. I still have 2 more hoops to jump through. I was given the go ahead by my Cardiologist, now I was told that my PCP has to give the go ahead to have surgery also (which I am positive is not an issue), and I have to get some pulmonary testing done on January 25th. As long as the tests come back good we will go ahead with my surgery. I sure was hoping for a date at the end of January, beginning of February but I guess my Dr had different ideas. At least it is finally scheduled, I can now finally see some light at the end of the tunnel.

Such an exciting time! Congratulations!
Between now and the time you are wheeled back to the surgery room, you will be frustrated, and antsy, and not everything may go as you plan it, but you'll get there, and once the surgery is done, it's a fun ride down!
Get ready to have the ride of your life!
