Some things were checked at my 3 month, then more at my 6 month... I have another draw for my 9 month, and then again at my 12 month. Then annually after that.

John is right though, keeping your own numbers is best! (now if someone would take minei and make it into an Excel spreadsheet, I'd be much more organized! Ha!)

I see that you are in the USA, so this may not apply to you, but...

Anyone reading this thread in Ontario or B.-C. can actually check their bloodwork results online if you have your blood drawn through LifeLabs. Their online system shows you all the results, as well as an analysis putting your results into graph form over time and giving warning indications for results that are too high/low.

Pretty convenient!!

That's awesome, I actually have something similar available through my doctor's patient portal which is very helpful!

My surgeon took blood for the first time at 4 months.  Then he takes it every 3 months for the first year.  After that, I'm not sure as I am just about to the one year mark and he decided to see me in 3 months again to make sure I'm not losing more weight, then he will "spread the visits out more".

My doctor wants it prior to every visit.  3 months post-op, 6 months, 12 months - then annually after.
