What's on your menu today (Wednesday) RNYers? Day 3 of AMAW/CAMAW!
Good day folks! I started this post a few times but got sidetracked each time. Today I got a pleasant surprise via the scale (albeit inaccurate). It gave me 186.6 today- which would have meant a 5# drop overnight. I knew it was a fluke-but it was so nice to see. When you start at over 300# you wonder is 1 anything is real. Anywho- I reweighed and it gave me my more recent trend.
Qotd: we recycle. Our program gives points you can use for stuff -- most of which I'm uninterested in. I probably have like 20k points by now.

Hello all!
C/AMAW went well for me yesterday. I probably had too much condiment with my pork and chicken breast. I see Daisy's "1 tsp A1" and know I am not so pure. I was up .5 lbs from yesterday, but that is still a loss overall.
Definitely I was wanting things a little more yesterday--carbs and such. But I still feel satisfied, and keep thinking of how there are lots of yummy meats and critters to eat! I think bacon is on for a snack today.
qotd: yes, we recycle! We really try to vigilant, but I think we could do more. We do not have a full service program in our little town, but we have the big dumpster approach for recyclables. They do not take some things, like glass and styrofoam. But we save our glass and when our box is full we take it to a town about 20 min away Ro their glass bin. And our normal garbage dumpster is usually not very full, unless it is yard cleanup time. We have no "green waste" option, so branches and stuff just go to the landfill.

I'm on Day 8 of 21 days of Pre-Op Optifast, so my menu is as follows:
B,L,S,S: Optifast 900 shakes, plus 2 cups green veggies (roast broccoli and green pepper today), clear broth, hot lemon water.
I'm feeling OK, just a little weak, and am battling hunger and head hunger but have not cheated one bit. I'm using the blog on this site as a tool, and basically haunting this site and watching youtube WLS vlogs 24/7, lol.
We also have those big blue recycling bins and use them; it must be an Ontario thing. We also compost all of our veggie stalks/leaves, lemon peels, etc.
