Love using the patches. Been using the Multivitamin for a year, and the calcium for 6 months. Decided to add the calcium, because I just wasn't consistent enough with remembering to take it during the day.... Bloodwork has been great. I got in the habit of putting them on at night during the summer, as I have a pool...and wanted to be available to swim.

I'm sorry you are still under the weather Daisy. Sometimes I think getting super sick for a couple of days but then feeling okay is easier than when a low-grade illness drags on and saps your energy.

I did lose the head wrapping and tummy drains at the PS appointment yesterday.  But boy did he cinch the compression garment around my middle!  I'm super happy with the head thing off though, and was able to eat much more easily after (though heavy chewing still wouldn't work). Stitches around ears come out Friday.

I'm eating as high-protein as possible, which I do anyway but I'm even more conscious of it while healing. PS was pleased - said I was a "good healer" and the high protein was helping.

QOTD: I pretty fanatical about recycling - I move stuff from trash to recycling when DH forgets.  I think we are about 2/3rds recycled trash vs regular (maybe even 75% recycled).  Our town only collects recycling every 2 weeks (trash every week), so it is a problem if we don't get it out on the correct week.

B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese

L: tunamelt

D: Baked haddock and spinach

S: eggbeater crepe and ricotta, protein drink

Glad you are healing well...keep your protein up! So important in healing... The compression is good and it will get looser as your swelling goes down...

I would rather get super sick for a few days then just feeling off right!

So glad to hear you lost the head wraps and drains, excellent.  You are doing really well and seem to be healing quickly.

Yes for being fanatical about recycling I am too!! that makes me happy!

Good looking menu, haddock & spinach sounds wonderful!

Keep healing well!! And keep us posted on how your recovery is going!

hope the snow melted for you tt!

So glad to hear that you recycle!  And good point on trying not to even bring things into the house that are plastic already, I totally agree plastic will be (one of) our downfalls on this Earth!

Great menu! I was drooling at your baked cod & lemon juice, I love my fish with lots and lots of fresh squeezed lemon!

Your totals are excellent, keep up the great work!!

Morning DD2! I hope all of my peeps are feeling meaty today. I'm sorry did I say Peeps? Sugary, delicious Peeps?

QOTD: I recycle, but my city isn't overly serious about it. There are a lot of things they won't take, and they are a pain about others. For instance, they want us to recycle paper and cardboard, but they won't take pizza boxes, and no one can tell me why.

Here is my exact menu from yesterday. It will likely be heavy on the sausage, since I grilled about 100 pounds of it yesterday. It's one of those things that goes well in the fridge or freezer and reheats in the microwave. Not many meats are good from the microwave.
