What's on your Menu today (Tuesday) RNYers? DAY 2 of AMAW/CAMAW
Hi Everyone!! CAMAW is going surprisingly well for me. I am not missing carbs at all... and they have been my downfall lately.
No pics today...tomorrow I'll have some time to work on posting pics.
B: 2 scrambled eggs w/ 1 oz. provolone.
L: 2 hot dogs w/ mustard.
D: 2 chicken drumsticks.
S: 2 oz. muenster cheese.
Calories 1091, Carbs 12, Protein 82.
Vitamins OK
Fluids OK
Exercise--still stuffed up with cold so holding off.

That is so awesome to hear Mary Gee! Carbs are the devil and are hard to kick them out of your life. So glad you are doing so well!
Great menu, looking forward to seeing what you have for Day 3! Keep up the awesome work!!

Well, I did good for me yesterday but totally off CAMAW. I didn't have pretzels and candy at night. I did have a salad with a nut topping. I am not a day person, so again, I did not post before going to work. But here is the todays menu:
B: Protein Shake (can't eat early some days)
S: 1 hard boiled egg, 1/2 yogurt
L: 2 hard boiled eggs, 1/2 yogurt
D: Salad (again off plan) with walnuts and Ranch dressing
S: hamburger (only if I need it)
So, I'm looking at becoming "legal" and on plan tomorrow. It always takes me a while to slow down before I can be successful. I should have started last week. I did start thinking about my food choices last week which is a big change for me.
Weight, 144 Up 1 pound out of my comfort range. Would like to see the low 130s this year. Signed up with my daughter for a sprint and an olympic triathalon. Ran for 10 min on the treadmill yesterday, today is just walking.

Sorry to hear you struggled with CAMAW, tomorrow is a new day! And better to "cheat" with a salad than candy or pretzels for sure!

Swear the only week I've been crazy nuts at work is this week. Oh well!! Have to earn the pay cheque!! :)
Day 1 was a success for me BUT I was up on the scale this morning! I was so pi$$ed-but I'm going to assume I never had enough water. I never faltered and have decided to stay off the GD scale till the end of the week. I'm not letting that scale get to me. Well, not today at least. LOL
My sister is in a similar situation. She was always the thin one. She went through a bad break-up, then broke her leg and now she's gained at least 125 pounds. She has been asking me about my meal plans as well. I have no problem helping and giving suggestions but I feel like such a fraud. I couldn't do it without surgery so how can I be giving advice?
My Menu today:
Breakfast- Premier Protein Shake ( I had brought bacon with me to work, but unexpected meeting meant I had to grab a shake while everyone else grabbed coffee.)
S- Light and fit greek yogurt. Lemon-I'm in love.
Lunch- 1 can of tuna with balsamic dressing. (saw it here on the menu and LOVED it!!)
S- 3oz of steak
Supper- 1 sausage with spicy mayo. ( couldn't eat the whole thing.)

Lori you got this, don't get discouraged! We had a few posters who went up in weight on AMAW/CAMAW. Make sure you are going to the bathroom and getting lots and lots of liquids!
Sorry to hear about your sister, that is very tragic. And yes it feels weird as a post WLS patient to give out dieting advice, totally get you.
Good menu!! I see you have joined me and many others on the tuna & balsamic kick (that was mine LOL) its yummy right!

I love the tuna creations! Great taste, protein and calorie count. So easy to grab. I stocked up today and bought 10 from Walmart for 1.00 apiece! Also I am new to the turkey burgers. Very filling and can break them up and eat 1 burger all day. 31 grams of protein in each burger . Are you kidding me turkey burger?? Where have you been all my life??

I am thrilled at your menu! The tuna pouches are awesome and yes I eat turkey burgers all the time they are amazing! I often eat them with some cranberry goat cheese melted over them, its a flavour explosion! LOL
Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see your menu for day 3 tomorrow, keep kicking butt girl!
