What's on your Menu today (Tuesday) RNYers? DAY 2 of AMAW/CAMAW
on 1/17/17 9:52 am
Let me know what you think today.
Tuna was one food that was awful for me after surgery. I had previously really liked tuna (I am from the Oregon coast and my mom home cans fresh tuna) -- and afterwards, not only did I not care for it, it gave me the foamies multiple times.
It was a good eight months after surgery until I could eat it and somewhat liked it again.
I eat it a couple times a month now -- and I've tried some of the "flavors" -- I actually prefer to season it myself most of the time. I am curious to know what you think --
"What you eat in private, you wear in public." --- Kat
It was my favorite flavor... when I could eat tuna that is... I've gotten it stuck one too many times, so I'm shy to try again... but I am looking at it lately thinking, dang, that's some good stuff! So, many I should try it again one of these days.

I post my pics from a computer where I can resize them, if I post from my phone I can't and they are huge like yours, that's the difference.
You really hit the nail on the head as well with "I could never give up food" I think that is my Dad's problem... he LOVES food and Beer.
Great looking menu, dear god I started to drool over your brie cheese, god I love brie cheese!

I have to admit my dogs appear to be shying away from me yesterday and today - I just keep saying eat meat, eat critters. I think they are worried ;) But I have to admit I wanted to eat some Health Wise Biscotti last night. Meat, meat, meat, dairy............ I ended up eating a yogurt.
Actually I think they are very happy as I have been sharing my spoils with them as I prepare my daily feast.
I did think about those Pork pancakes last night. I was ready to crush up some pork skins, but I'm still unclear how cashew milk comes from a critter ;)
Sorry - no cure out there for your dad until he's ready. I kept saying no to WLS for 10 years and struggling all the while. But, I did find that I had great pre-weight surgery success using a program called The Fresh Plan. Sort of a fresh meal preparation company (similar to Seattle Sutton, if that or something like that is out by you). The Fresh Plan impressed my NUT as it provided exactly the macros she wanted me on during the insurance evaluation phase, prior to the 7 week liquid diet (got I hated that phase, but I digress). I just ate one of the three prepared meals and a yogurt with breakfast and a healthy salad with dinner. I was dropping weight left and right and the food was pretty good. The cost of their program wasn't too bad either - $25 a day. There are a lot of these programs out there - maybe something like that will get the ball rolling.
B - The last of my ham and cheese omlette from Sunday
S - Premier banana cream shake
L - Left over salmon, cottage cheese and lite cheese salad from last night
S - Beef stick (half the stick I showed the picture from yesterday)
D - Rotisserie chicken. My wife said - "oh, I brought you a whole chicken" She hates chicken - does that mean I have to eat this frickin chicken for the next 2 weeks. Oh man. I'm thinking the dogs will be very happy over the next couple of days. "oh, dear I dropped the bowl of chicken and the dogs went crazy - sorry." I have got to retrain her on my portion sizes and the implication of buying a whole something.
S - maybe another night yogurt if I get crazy
I think she said that we would have to substitute the almond milk with regular milk to keep it CAMAW... so there you have it!

Pigs in Pig blanket it is then. That might send the dogs scurrying away. Thanks
