Ooh let me know how the protein powder in the soup goes!

and I don't find people harsh here at all! I mean if you just want to be told what you want to hear, maybe it's not the best spot.... but everyone here has been so encouraging and supportive.

Honestly it looked gross at first but I stirred it in really well and it was perfect.

Glad to see you are doing so well, and are killing it early on.  Yes, Daisy is a sweetie and the Mayor of our community. We heart her.

Those first few weeks of weight loss are truly like a magical feeling when you get on the scale! Oh, how I wish I could have just a couple of those weeks on the tail-end of my weight loss!

Glad you found us too!  No shout outs necessary, but thank you!!! Its my pleasure to help you and anyone else who wants to chat.  I was a newbie once and I wish I had a Vet or a novice to help me navigate the post WLS life.  But you are doing awesome and I am so proud of you!

Its funny the things we get pleasure from at 4 days post surgery - tomato soup LOL I bet it was wonderful!

I've heard that too in real life about OH being harsh or unsupportive... NO it is called being real... that is why I love this place, no it is not all rainbows and unicorns :)

Cloudy here in Illinois today but no ice or snow at least. My cold is still hanging around though and my nose is dripping like a faucet. Lily and I already have our 3.2 miles in,even though I had to stuff my pockets full of kleenex.Ick. Sorry to hear about your dad's weight struggles. I had little success with dieting to lose weight and could never keep it off. Encouraging them to be more active together with swimming or water exercise would be great. Anything they could do to move more is bound to help. Both my boys have weight problems,in part I'm sure due to my poor example when they were at home. The youngest graduated college and has worked at a very physically demanding job for 11/2 years and has lost almost 60 pounds with a few tweaks to his diet so it can be done. Post op 4 years 4.5 months and weight at 117.6 today. Here's the eats B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 1/2 c tuna salad 1/2 c green beans D 31/2 oz ground turkey with salsa 1/2 c sweet potatoes S mission one chocolate brownie protein bar.  Have a great day everyone and make some amazing choices that move you one step closer to your goal!
