Looks good Daisy!
4 days post op and I'm doing great except at getting anything in. I'm sipping- I do not want to get dehydrated- but nothing tastes good right now. Tomato soup is on my list from my centre so I'm going to try some of that. Sorry to sound whiny! Physically I'm doing reallly good. No trouble moving, getting in and out of bed or up off the couch. And I'm already down 8 lbs since surgery and 21 from my highest weight!!
Menu:
Breakfast: Chocolate Premier Protein
Lunch: Cream of wheat
Dinner: Tomato Soup with unflavoured protein powder
1/4 cup quantities each time. Have a great day!

QOTD: My family is supportive- more so than ever. In the past when I've dieted, I've always cooked different meals for me. But my kids are getting more health conscious so I'm hoping they will all be along for the ride. My hubby - well he's slim and always has been. My very smart daughter wondered if he had sugar issues because he finds he needs a fair amount of sugar in his diet or his energy crashes. He's very close minded though so no amount of telling him a healthier diet will help seems to make a difference. The rest of us are obese so his sugary snacks don't help. He is getting better but it's baby steps. I think he's going to have to have his own junk food stash in his closet or something. I'm so proud of my younger 2. They've been trying so hard to eat healthier and my daughter has been working out everyday.

Glad you are doing so well! That sipping stuff at the beginning is really hard, but very worth the effort to keep it up (as you already know)... you'll get it down... give yourself about 6 weeks to get through all of that beginning stuff, and you'll suddenly start to get into a great routine!

Sounds like overall you are doing well.... Have another Premier- counts as liquid and protein. You can also warm it up and drink it as hot chocolate for a change of pace.... My center allowed cream of wheat as well, but if you are going to have it I would add some unflavored protein powder to it as well... remember after the fluids it is all about the protein... there is no way at this point that you could over due either...

If you like tomato soup -- I have a HUGE unopened canister of Celebrate's meal replacement protein powder in Tomato Soup flavor. You can have it, if you are willing to pay for just the shipping. :-)
