What's on your menu today (Monday) RNYers - START OF AMAW/CAMAW!
on 1/16/17 7:30 pm - GTA, Ontario, Canada
Mike! YAY so glad to see you back here my friend!
How exciting on your handing in your notice, bitter sweet I know. But a 5 minute commute, that is worth its weight in gold! Good for you!
You are welcome to join AMAW/CAMAW, just tell me if you want. You always have such great menus and eat pretty much CAMAW anyways. I hope when things settle down a bit we will see you here more, we have missed you.
Keep up the great work and congrats again on the new job! So exciting!

Super late post for me--kids out of school; husband off work. But I have to post for CAMAW, even if no one will read it but Daisy!
Drinking lots of my favorite Crio Bru and herb teas
Breakfast: 3/4 Aidell chicken sausage
Lunch: 3 oz pork roast, plus 1" cube gouda
Dinner: Eating out for the holiday, and going to the boys' favorite restaurant to celebrate the end of term for our middle school boys. Both got straight A's! So, not sure what I will eat. But I will be certain to order something CAMAW appropriate.
Snacks: Have not had any. If I do, it will be cheese. I sure have wanted to snack. There's nothing like a CAMAW to remind me of my nibbling/grazing habits. I am glad for a reminder, to help myself be more mindful again.
QOTD: No, my family will not join me. They are all planning their Italian Sodas for our night out.
xoxo everyone!
My starting weight was 164. This is 4 holiday pounds above my "don't go above that" weight of 160, and it is 9 pounds above the low end of my comfort weight of 155. I hope to get back below 160 from this week, and then continue down closer to 155.
Surgery in a month! Want to be at 155 by surgery. That is 2 lbs/week--I hope that's reasonable. It will require focus, that's for sure.

I have my fingers crossed you get those lbs off this week, you got this girl!
AMAW/CAMAW does really highlights how much we eat off plan or snack or graze right, its a good "reminder" of the rules.
I look forward to your menus this week, I know you will kick some carb butt!
Hello everyone,
I had a nice weekend although between January and March I have no days off because I direct a musical that rehearses everyday including weekends. I'm looking forward to the 2nd week of March big time.
QOTD: I'm only cooking right now for my self and my husband. He only eats meat and veggies so it's easy for me to do and just avoid the veggies.

It amazes me that you reply to all our posts! I sure hope your migraine is better.
Every year I direct our high school musical. We have over 100 students involved. It's a lot of work but very rewarding. This year we are doing Oklahoma.

Hello All, I am not doing the AMAW this time around. I got a call from my WLS office on Friday (I missed the call but they left a message) He wanted me to get an appointment with my Cardiologist and have her sign off on my surgery so I amassing that my insurance must have approved me for surgery.
I was lucky that my Cardiologist is actually going to be in my town tomorrow, so I was able to get an appointment for 1:00 tomorrow. She travels to my small town 1day a month.
Once I find out what she says I will call my WLS office and make sure I have been approved by my insurance, and find out how soon I can take the three nutrition classes that are required before surgery. It is getting closer.
