Yaaaaaaayy Meat Week! I'm on the tail end of a chest cold that has me completely out of commission, so it feels a little weird nursing a bowl of BBQ instead of oatmeal. Oh, the sacrifices we make!

Time since surgery: 3 years 2 months (VSG)

B: String cheese

L: Lloyd's BBQ pulled pork

D: Italian sausage

S: Turkey jerky

Water: Chugging the SF powerade like a beast today

Exercise: Does napping count??

I totally think napping counts when you're sick! Exercise for the mind!

So many people not feeling well- Yes napping counts. How are the stats on the Lloyd's BBQ? Sounds yummy....I just do a walk by because I assumed it wasn't good....

oh sorry to hear you have that cold going around Julie!  bummer!  You made me laugh out loud with "nursing bbq not oatmeal" the things we do for AMAW right LOL

And yes napping counts, I also think napping should be an Olympic sport, my hubby would take the Gold hands down LOL

So fun to be back here posting!

I am hoping this CAMAW will kick my weight loss back into gear. I've been hovering under 300 pounds since before Christmas. I am almost 5 months out and I have lost 77 pounds so far. I'd love to be down to 100 pounds lost by my 6 month check up on March 1st. That's feeling ambitious right now as things have definitely slowed....but I can't call it a true stall because I know I have taken to grazing. I have the mixed blessing of being able to tolerate anything now. :/ Definitely tested that out too much at Christmas. So, that's about four pounds a week I'd need to lose...

 

Anyway, CAMAW...is it cay-maw or cah-maw? In my head it's cay-maw, lol. I am taking pictures but I haven't pre-prepped everything ahead of time so I guess I will post photos in the morning of what I ate today?

Breakfast- coffee with cream, 3 ounces breakfast sausage

Lunch- a chicken thigh seasoned with greek seasoning...I measured it at 3.8 but couldn't fini**** I probably got 3 ounces and the dog got .8, lol. 

Dinner- anyone remember me cooking through the states with my daughter? That got put on hold for the holidays, lol. Tonight we are making Arizona. We are making a tamale pie and wedge salads with some ancho-chili flavored greek yogurt/ranch dressing. I will have about 3 ounces of ground beef with some of the dressing to help it go down. The tip to use dips has been a lifesaver for getting certain kinds of meats down.

Snack- a greek yogurt, or maybe a hard boiled egg...I have one kicking around in the fridge if I need it. The meat fills me up a lot though, so maybe not.  

Totals- cal- 857  protein- 64. Totals are w/o Snack.

HW- 375

SW- 358

GW- 175

I didn't respond to the QOTD! My dh absolutely not going to eat like I do. Yes, he needs to. But he's not there. Now that I can tolerate most foods, I have been making "regular" meals for the family and leave off the carbs for me.
