Is a tuna melt just what one usually thinks of without bread?

Yep. We were out at a restaurant so I had them make it normally, and just scooped out the middle. (I had a few bites of the bread, too!).

When I make one at home I typically use 1/2 a light flat-out bread.

Hope you're feeling better soon! Have fun on your trip!

A tuna melt sounds good... but I haven't tried tuna again in months because I kept getting it stuck for some reason! My taste buds are almost ready to try it again, and a 'melt' might be just the ticket!

I had the same problem with tuna -- for so long.  It was my kryptonite food!!

With tuna it depends on the day. Sometimes it's fine and other times not so much.

I consider tuna to be one of my "loud" foods. When I eat it everybody in town can hear it shifting my my stomach. The gurgling and burps are too much for my quite office. Maybe I should try a melt. The cheese might hold it together in there lol.

Loud food- great way to phrase it. I just wrote off hot chocolate cause it was my "loud" 'food'. Tuna I can manage but it fills me FAST.
