Good morning, menu posters! It was a super hectic weekend, but I have to say that I'm pleased with the results. So, as many of you may remember, I had to do all of the washing and clipping to get the pigs ready for the stock show that will be later this week. I washed and clipped nine pigs this weekend, and I found it so much easier to move around, sit on my knees, kneel down, crawl around, etc. It's safe to say that out of the four adults that were there, I am the one that is in the BEST shape, which is also sad to say. Anyway, I'm pretty happy that it's been so much easier on me now that all of this weight has melted off! It's an amazing feeling to know that I can do anything that I need to do without so much pain. DH made a comment about how well I was moving around and how I wasn't complaining about pain. Said he never really understood how that extra weight really affected me. That's huge that he can see it now. I almost cried when he said it. It just meant so much to me!!
QOTD: I don't really discuss my menu with the family. I usually have one variation or another of what they're eating...only a lot less and no heavy carb stuff. CAMAW here because I have to have some cheeses! Tonight, they're having L'il Smokies wrapped in biscuits and mac n cheese, because my daughter (she's almost nine!!!!) wants to cook supper. So, for me, I'm just going to have her save about four of the L'il sausages for me without the biscuit, with a little cheese. I'm not the only one in the house that cooks, so it's helpful when someone else is cooking, I can get in there and cook something up for me.
B: Tuna, spicy ranch
S: Venison jerky, string cheese
L: Tuna, spicy ranch
S: Venison jerky, string cheese
D: L'il smokies, string cheese
Totals: Protein 76, Carbs 9, Fat 42
V: On track
L: Two coffees down, flavored water the rest of the day (figured out that I can get more in when it's flavored...been using lemonade and pink lemonade zero calorie flavoring packets..sure does help!!!)
E: Have to give both of my boys haircuts, and I have to give the goat a haircut for stock show, too, so it's arm day LOLOL
Since I don't have pics of my meat and cheese chaos, I have to share this sweet pic of my DD and her Duroc pig from last night after all of the washin', clippin', lotionin', and lovin'!
