What's on your menu today (Monday) RNYers - START OF AMAW/CAMAW!

never a dumb question!
So there is no concerns about wearing many patches at once. In fact I wear 4 at a time all on my lower abdomen area, just underneath my underwear elastic band. I wear the Multivitamin, the Iron, the B12 and the Vit D & Calcium patch all at once. No problems what so ever. I don't take anything orally now. And since we absorb the patches through the skin/bloodstream and ingesting it like with food there is no intestinal tract and therefore you can drink coffee all day long, which is exactly what I do, I might have a caffeine addiction LOL
Best of luck, I LOVE the patches and don't know what I would do with out them!
Morning RNY'ers! I'm off today- have been in my run and am currently setting the clock back a few years by coloring my grays:-) Weekend was good. My son lost his wrestling match, but I messed up communicating he'd be there so he only had 1 match that lasted 1 minute out of 4 hours. Ugh- I felt awful. Won't happen again-- but it did give him specific thing to ask his coach for help with.
Yesteday I replaced my toaster oven and bought an airfryer. The airfryer is more so for my son who eats lots of fried foods- so giving him a healthier alternative. I'm still excited to see how it cooks things.
Qotd: I'm not doing Meat week- enjoy to those of you doing it. I do not talk to my hubby about anything WLS related- so if I mentioned AMAW he'd be clueless. I've filled him in on the basics of my WLS that he'd need to know if there were an emergency with me- otherwise it's business as usual with us.

Good morning everyone! Since surgery I've become moderately to severely obsessed with cooking shows. When I'm downstairs working out or walking laps with my arms weights (I do it in the basement for a reason, I look ridiculous) the TV is on in the background and although I've always enjoyed cooking I feel like I've learned a lot. My spice drawer is now full of tiny bags of this and that from the bulk section of the grocery store. It has been fun to try experiment and so far all the new flavours have been well received. Up until this week I've been primarily cooking chicken but since this week is AMAW....
QOTD My bf hasn't been anywhere near as excited during any part of this process as he was yesterday when he saw my Costco shopping list! Ordinarily it would be impossible to get him anywhere near Costco on a Sunday but once he read "ribs, roast, steak, ground beef" the rest of the list didn't matter and he navigated the insanely busy parking lot without a whisper of complaint. Inside the store there was an uncomfortable number of people and while I questioned if it was all worth it he just worked his way towards the back of the store and you could see his mood improve with every package of red meat that found it's way into the cart. So for this week I will continue to cook our meals, I make the protein for both of us and then the whatever goes with it for him. He usually never asks what we're having, just waits for it to be ready but suddenly this week he's curious about the dinner schedule! Admittedly I am too, I've been doing well with chicken so I just stuck with it and so far I've handled all new foods well so I'm hoping that trend will continue throughout the week.
I will take pics of my meals throughout the day but here's the pile we have to work with after pulling a few things out of the downstairs freezer and our Costco adventure.
B - turkey sausage
L - Lemon and Dill tuna
D - Chicken breast
S - turkey bites (2), deli chicken breast slices (2)
Totals 473 cal, 64g protein, 9g carbs
Hope everyone has a great start to the week.

It is quite the pile! In addition to AMAW we were expecting a dehydrator to arrive this week so we grabbed the eye of round in anticipation of that and it arrived this morning so my bf is even more excited about all the red meat in the house. Homemade jerky... fingers crossed...
