What's on your menu today (Monday) RNYers - START OF AMAW/CAMAW!
Morning fellow menu peeps! I'm so ready for CAMAW today! My goal is to only add fairlife milk to the C part of CAMAW... MAYBE some cheese, but I'm really focusing on going as close to AMAW as I can...
QOTD: My family will eat what they want. I'll cook meat, and probably a side dish for them each night, or I may make them fend for themselves. Right now, hubs can go without eating for all I care, he's really been hard to deal with for the past week, and honestly, I don't have the wherewithal to placate him this week... sigh.
So... yesterday I cooked all the meat in the lower picture, sans the bacon. Seems that we ate that all this weekend (daughter had a friend spend the night, so 1lb down then, THEN I cook 2 lbs, and it disappears. Have I mentioned my family LOVES bacon? So, in lieu of the bacon that is missing, I will just have to deal with it. We took out a ham, whole chicken, and a pork loin for dinners this week... I'll have plenty to choose from.
B: 2.7ounces of steak (pictured below) decaf coffee with no creamer - as the creamer I brought in this morning must be bad even though it doesn't smell bad, because it curdled TWICE this morning! I threw away the entire quart. I'll get more at lunch.
L: 3oz of brat
S: 3oz of grilled bologna (but my goal will be to only eat 1/2 at a time... we'll see how that goes Ha!)
D: pork loin 2.5-3 oz
S: Decaf with fairlife milk
Calorie totals are at 781 as this stands.
Today is my 8 month surgiversary! Weighed in this morning at 157.0... a total weight loss last month of 8.8lbs! Not too shabby!
Pictured below is a sample of what I brought in for the next couple of days... steak, brats, and grilled bologna... I have several of each in the fridge, this way even if I forget my meal one day I have some in the fridge!
My beautiful grilling experience yesterday!

Yup, a nationwide company is what I meant. I knew they didn't have restaurants around. Bratwurst is our go-to. I rarely buy hotdogs for grilling, but if I do, it's only Nathans! I lived in Chicago for a few years, too. I don't remember doing a lot of cooking then though, so I don't know that I ever saw the brand there, but I've had them in Georgia, Texas, and Oklahoma.
I have bought 'homemade' type brats, and none have been great, although at this local German restaurant, I've had some that give Johnsonville a run for their money, but they are more like specialty brats... art deco brats... LOL

Not to butt in -- but we have Johnsonville brats here in Northeastern Ohio, too!
