What's on your Sunday menu, RNYers?
I have nit exercised really since my car accident, except for the specific PT stuff.... yesterday I woke up with a burst of energy (Yeah! It is about time) Did my pilates routine- modified where needed because my shoulder has been in a lot of pain...I seemed to have turned a corner in that department and have an ortho appointment tomorrow- Which will be like- Last week I was practically crying in pain...whatever.
So one thing I was thinking about yesterday as I exercised.... and telling myself I have to remember this for the future...is I have literally not exercised for 2 1/2 months and have maintained my weight. Win. Yes....but goes to what is always said around here, while exercise makes us feel good and is great for our bodies it is what we put into our mouths that is important to losing/maintaining our weight.
QOTD: Absolute Internet shopper.... and yes a lot sits in the shopping cart. I love when I get the emails- Did you forget something?- hahahaha....I get in kicks, I would like to say I spend my time painting...but I don't...I go in spurts. I rarely watch TV, the internet has taken over so much....actually considering ditching cable.

We ditched cable years ago! We have a digital antenna, so we still pick up a few basic channels. We still get news and big sporting or cultural events when needed. Otherwise, it's all internet for us! I don't miss it at all.
Having said that, there is a tiny Vietnamese restaurant in our neighborhood I love because they have the food network playing on mute all the time haha.

I haven't had cable for years either, but I always watched the food channel at the gym. Something about sweating out the toxins made watching them cook all that yummy stuff, bearable.
- High Weight before LapBand: 200 (2008)
- High Weight before RNY: 160 (2015)
- Lowest post-op weight: 110 (2016)
- Maintenance Weight: 120 (2017-2019)
- Battling Regain Weight: 135 (current)
I've done that too - put stuff in carts and leave it (then get reminder emails). Sometimes what I put in the cart calls to me later and I go back and buy it (dangerous).

Good morning all!
It's chilly this morning but not terrible, enough that I needed a light jacket when I went out to fill our bird feeders. We are going to see Hidden Figures today and I'm so excited...I've wanted to see it ever since I saw the first trailer for it. Pat and I are NASA nerds....the docu-series When We Left Earth is one of our favorites....if you haven't seen it I recommend it. It was done by Discovery a few years ago. Yesterday we went book hunting, and I spent an embarrassing amount of money on books....I have a HUGE pile of things to read now, my bookworm heart is happy!
QOTD: I rarely get bored because I'm so busy, but I guess my go-to things would be reading, or playing a video game. The things I like to do when I have more time . I've never been able to really get into audiobooks because I constantly have to stop and restart them to hear things I've missed because I end up focused on something else. I don't mind doing it with books I've already read though...I have the entire HP series in audiobook format and I love listening to those. I like watching shows while I work - I usually have netflix going on my tablet while my hands are busy sculpting.
Menu:
B: Coffee and bacon, with a miralax kicker
L: Chicken Quesadilla
D: Pot Roast, veggies
S: TBD - something healthy, maybe cottage cheese, almonds
Have a great day guys!

Good morning JB and gang!
QOTD: I knit. When I was waiting for WLS they warned me that I needed something to replace the urge to eat. I used to own a yarn store, but have not knit in years, so I got out my knitting. Of course thwt yarn was not good enough so I had to buy more ;). I am also addicted to online shopping, especially now that I can buy clothes in regular sizes. I need more money.
B: Premier Protein banana with pb2, coffee with fairlife

I got sidetracked with popcorn yesterday. No butter but loaded with salt... I am up a pound instead of losing this week. So ready for CAMAW!
LOL (I need more money to support my online shopping too). I used to knit years ago. I don't know if I could take it up again, but it's something to think about.
