Other relative newbies?

I'm scheduled for RNY surgery tomorrow morning!

The pre-op liquid diet has had some tough moments this week (mostly when cooking dinner for my family at night), but thankfully, I was so busy at work this past week I rarely had time to think about how hungry I was during most of my waking hours.

I'm feeling a mixture of excitement and anxiety today!  This is such a huge step for me and I have been trying to get approved for this surgery for almost three years (insurance issues).  Now that it is finally here, it seems almost surreal.

Good luck on your surgery tomorrow!  I'd be excited and anxious too. 

I"m on day 5 my pre-op liquid diet now, and if I had too cook for others I don't think I could do it.  Wow, good for you.  That must have been tough.  I have a hard enough time smelling my family's dinners let alone having to cook them.

Howdy!  I had my surgery on December 9th.  Just a little over 5 weeks out now and I'm so glad you posted this!  It's nice to know what other people in similar situations and time frames are going through!!

I had surgery about 3 1/2 months ago.

I just had surgery on the 10th of Jan. So far it's been relatively easy  but my concern is just trying to heal right now.
