What's on your Saturday menu, RNYers?
on 1/14/17 6:30 am
Good morning and happy Saturday! Its still cold and blustery here in the PNW. I am looking forward to it warming up this week, but nervous about all the ice and snow melting.
I am so excited for AMAW next week!! I am really hoping this will kickstart my weight loss. I went shopping yesterday and bought crab, shrimp, deli meat and ground beef. Costco was sampling chicken sausages. They had one that was mushroom, swiss and bacon that had 1 carb, 20 protein and 200 calories per sausage. I should of bought them! They were tasty and so flavorful.
QOTD- I love dreams. I dream of my grandmother a lot. She has been gone 14 years. It feels like yesterday and forever at the same time since I lost her. My grandmother was morbidly obese. She had weight loss surgery in the 80's and had to have it reversed because of complications. I don't remember a lot about it because I was young. I never remember my grandma not being morbidly obese, like 500lbs plus, but in my dreams she is normal weight.
My plan for the day is-
B- 2 ounces of delicious dungeness crab meat with lemon juice
L- 2 ounces peppered turkey breast
D- 6 shrimp with homemade ****tail sauce ( made with sugar free ketchup)
S- unjury chicken soup ( to increase protein numbers)
Protein-67 Carbs-3 Calories- 325
Good morning, everyone! It is Saturday and I am hoping the rain in California will take a break, as I would like to get out in some sun for a change! I know many of you are suffering with snow or ice, so stay warm and stay safe!
Breakfast: 2 HB Eggs and turkey sausage
Lunch: Bleu Cheese Burger with Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Dinner: Fiesta Chicken
Snack: Greek Yogurt
Water: Off track yesterday, but back on track today.
Vitamins: Patches on.
Exercise: 30 -60 mins. Working on increasing that as well.
QOTD: I generally remember my dreams or at least pieces of them. I hate it when I have multiple dreams and they just run like a movie reel that you have no idea where one ends and the next one begins. Those tick me off. lol

I hate being iced in. My boss bought me a set of studded tires last week when I was iced in. Made me fearless for a few days... until I tried to take my regular tires to an up-the-hill storage unit and ended up ice skating in my car. With my new tires on. Yuck.
Off-topic, but for the newbies: what on earth does "hag" mean? Thanks!

"I've got friends, and I've got family. I've got help from all the people who love me." --Mavis Staples
A while back -- maybe a year or more? -- someone took great offence when it was pointed out she was eating some really bad things. She got in a big old huff, called a few people some really bad names, called us all a bunch of bitter old hags, and deactivated. Some of us decided to embrace the hag.
