It is a workout! It's easier to wash than it is to clip, though. I love the pigs, and giving my kids this opportunity means the world to me.

Good morning! Whoo hoo its friday and we don't have much in the way of plans for the weekend. Between migraines, my monthly visitor and a very stress week of work my eating has been slack but not horrible. My exercise, well that has been non-existent. For those of you who know me understand this is an issue. Hell, I AM AN IRONMAN. I need to get moving on a more regular basis. This weather and illness is not helping but I seriously need to stop making excuses and move my ass.
QOTD: Most of my family and friends know about my surgery and would ask me lots of questions while I was lossing weight. I would answer (for the most part) and I felt it held me accountable in many ways. Now that I've been this size for almost 2 years the questions have died down. I did not, have not and will not mentioned my surgery on Facebook. I try not to discuss any medical issues on Facebook. SO at my 20th high school reunion a friend asked what I had done to loose all my weigh (other than exercise constantly). I admitted surgery and she got all high and mighty on my. She said "I looked into it but I didn't want to take the easy way out." She is a nurse so I assumed she knew it wasn't easy but I stressed it wasn't easy and it is a very personal decision. I congratulated her on her weight loss the "old fashioned" way and moved on. A month later in a Facebook post she was raving about her 40 lbs weight loss. She even snuck in how she did it all without surgery. I felt like it was a personal dig at me. Whether it was or not it doesn't matter. I know it wasn't meant maliciously or at least I hope not.

Before and after (IRONMAN!)

I could not be more impressed with everything you did to get in the most amazing shape for Ironman... I can can't catch my breath after a mile anymore so I can barely imagine the energy and dedication it took to train for that. I really hope you will continue to post here to remind us that this is possible!

Ironman; wow! That is incredible. Love the before and after photos; you look great.
That "friend" must have been jealous of you and looking to make herself feel better by trying to minimize your amazing accomplishments. Or maybe she's just thoughtless.
Before I looked into surgery, I was determined to do this "on my own" I had no idea, then, that surgery was a tool and I'd still be doing it on my own. No surgery is an easy way out. I'm having mine in 19 days, and I'm very excited and eager for it, but very aware that it has risks. Definitely not an easy way out.
