What's on your menu today (PHOTO FRIDAY) RNYers?
Thinking of you all. Sick loved ones is never easy. It's good you're able to share the load though. It means a lot, I'm sure.

Good morning everyone!
Daisy I'm sorry your hubby is still sick :( I hope he feels better soon! Also thank you for the update on "the other daisy" as I like to think of her - I was thinking about her last night and this morning.
I'm in better spirits this morning, yesterday was just a heck of an emotional day. I'm super excited that I finally have a surgery date and my head is full of preparation stuff. I've already made a lot of good habits, and I joined in the Bariatric Foodie Challenge that starts on the 29th to help me cement those in place. It's a weekly challenge (and you can win prizes but that's not my main motivation for doing it) and you get support from other challenge participators. I'm thinking of doing challenges to walk each day, plan my meals out (and portion them) each day, no drinking while eating, and maintaining all my vitamins. I'm also super duper excited for CAMAW next week, and I've stocked my fridge with plenty of meats, cheese, and of course my milk/creamer/protein shakes
This weekend we have lots of plans - my dad and stepmom are coming for a visit and I really enjoy having them here. They are easy house guests and love to do active things. Also they are super supportive of my dietary changes and will eat whatever I feel like making so we've got lots of healthy stuff on the menu.
QOTD: I'm not sure how I'll handle it. I don't mind sharing stuff with my close friends and family - those that I know really support me and are excited about the number. I was proud to tell them I'd lost 100lbs after I had my band. I don't know if I'd really want to share that with strangers...I'll have to figure out the best way to respond. I ADORE your response Daisy...mean people are dumb, good on you for telling her to stuff it (creatively).
