What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
Morning everyone! Well we are getting more and more warnings that this ice storm is going to hit us pretty good... I'm still holding out hope that we can pull off the birthday party Saturday night, but less confident. At least it's a quick warm up, and Sunday will bring a ton of rain and temps in the 50's, so that ice won't stick around long (but losing power and that damage is very real, esp for where we live)
QOTD: This is so confusing for me... I was also one of those people with a very high opinion of myself when I was SMO Looking in the mirror, I thought I looked 'good'! Then, I'd see a picture... and would be shell shocked. Now, after losing over 100lbs, I keep thinking that when I look in the mirror NOW, I MUST be being overconfident again, because I see a slightly thin person looking back at me. Of course, when I see pictures, I sometimes think I look good now... but other times, when I put on some particular outfit and take pictures, I see that I'm not thin at all (particularly when I try to 'tuck' in a shirt and wear a belt - my body is NOT ready for this yet!). When people start saying things like "Oh my, you're just going to float away one of these days", I get irritated, because I'm NOT thin! My BMI is still in the overweight category, so leave me alone. I tend to grab the right size of clothes, if not too tight. Apparently that great opinion of myself shines through when I'm clothes shopping too Hahaha! But there is still a Fat Girl inside of me, that stresses over the handfuls of fat I can still grab (and I grab those almost as much as I 'feel up' the bones that are starting to emerge!) It's a constant mind game that I find myself in, that's for sure!
Oh, and I am probably turning into that middle aged woman that wears clothes that are too young for her... screw that. I'm wearing them anyway!
B: Chicken Parmesan that I FINALLY made last night (no breading/no pasta, just yummy chicken/Italian sausage/no sugar added sauce, and gooey cheeses!)
L: See above (3 ounces each)
D: Hmmm... probably the turkey and gravy pre-made stuff that hubs picked up at the grocery store this week. And I'll probably roast a sweet potato to go with it
S: Coffee, decaf with creamer... and beef jerky (1g carb per serving, I eat 1/2 serving for a snack)

Exercise: legs class at lunch
Vitamins: locked and loaded with the patches! Extra D3 already taken, and 2 biotin sitting on my desk that I'll take in a bit

Definitely don't hold back on clothing style! There's no age cut off! My mantra is just pick clothes that make you feel good!
