What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
on 1/12/17 6:38 am
Good morning. It's a little icy here in Chicago. Made for a cautious drive in to work.
QOTD - I'm always surprised by the disconnect in my mind and what I see. However, it is more a fun realization and I don't struggle with it (thankfully).
I signed up for CAMAW - hopefully I won't screw up my Coumadin levels as they usually don't like changes in my diet. Also my levels haven't really stabilized post surgery.
B - 1 1/2 eggs with cheese and salsa
L - Low sodium deli turkey, mustard and Belgioioso Mozz balls
D - Salad with Chicken burger and .5 ounce of feta
S - Premier protein banana cream, turkey jerky
Good Morning and happy Friday-eve. It was pouring on my way to work today but is supposed to stop bu late morning and then I think it's gone for a few days. So many areas are flooding that it will be good to get a few dry days. I am sorry Arun is still under the weather, really kicking him in the rear. I think it's important for you to get in as much water/fluids as possible and keep up on your vitamins-maybe increase your Vit-C as a precaution? Did you get your flu shot?
QOTD: You hit the nail on the head! I still buy and prefer clothes WAY TOO BIG. I often get told by my lovely team that my pants are baggy and look like I am carrying "a load". I still get nervous when being seated at a restaurant and we are walking towards a booth-anyone else??
Time since surgery: 2 years, 5 months
B: SF latte, Maple and brown sugar Oatfit, turkey sausage links and ½ an orange
L: Sweet and spicy tuna packet, carrots and string cheese
S: SF latte, Light and fit strawberry yogurt and a pack of Buddig turkey
D: Two eggs, 2 strips bacon and a SF latte later in the evening
E: 6 miles done this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch
V/W: On track
Totals: Cals:1052 Protein:107 Carbs:84 Fat:33
Have a great one!
I get nervous at EVERY booth! And then I fit... and I'm like alrighty then...

For me if my clothes are loose at all I feel totally out of sorts. I feel like I am going to gain weight like right that minute. It has been really important to me that my clothes are fitted. Not like sexy time hanging out or anything but fitted. Before WLS I was more of a fitted clothes person too. Maybe it is just a quirk of mine. :)

"I am basically food's creepy ex-girlfriend. I know we can't be together anymore but I just want to spend time hanging out" ~me, about why I love cooking so much post WLS
Same! Always wore fitted clothes, regardless of size. I just feel better when clothes fit properly. It's something I'm trying to balance during my active loosing phase. I've always got a couple of pairs of jeans or leggings in different sizes, trying to extend their shelf life.
