What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
Scale moved but only .4 pounds, at least it is going in the right direction. Today is my MRI on my side to see if the can figure out why i'm having side pain and acid issues. Can't eat or drink past 9:45 am so i MIGHT be having two breakfasts this morning before my cutoff since i can't have anything after. Oh i bought a BT integrated scale off amazon. it was an excellent deal at $25 and sends the data to your phone. Not sure how accurate the body far measurements are but it is interesting. I think I want to get a dexa.
QOTD: I can usually tell with clothes on the rack if they will fit me or not by looking. Before I was not so sure. Im wearing a 4 mostly in pants and usually a small or XS in tops. I just moved into a 4 on bottom and a lot of the 6's are too big. I have noticed that the smaller in size you go, like 0, 2,4 there are less options and availability? I feel like it is harder to find than sizes 6-12. I've been weeding through the closet and getting rid of things that look too big or maybe don't fit right/wrong color. I kept one pair of pants from before. I believe they are either 22 or 24. I have had two dreams where I woke up fat and panicked a little. Not sure what that is about but it is probably a deep fear that all this is a dream that I will just wake up MO again.
Menu is a bit up in the air since i can't eat for 6 hours in the middle of the day today.

Good morning friends! It's Thursday--we've almost made it!
QOTD: Before surgery I had what I laughingly call "reverse anorexia" about my body image. I never saw myself as heavy as I really was. Looking back at pics now, I often wonder how in the world I didn't know? But since surgery it's strange. I'm in a medium-large top now and 10-12 pants. I still gravitate towards the XL tops (smallest I've been prior to now in my adult life) and the 14 in pants. Like you Daisy, I have decided to save some clothes, but mine are 12-14's that are too big. I've started a tote of them. Call it a safety net, call it crazy. But I've never been able to keep weight off before and have had to rebuy wardrobes so my logical brain says to save them. I pray to God I never need them. When people say "you're getting really skinny!" I get shy and laugh. It makes me uncomfortable and I know I still have a lot of fat to lose before I'm "skinny." So bizarre.

Twinning's English Breakfast and Irish Breakfast are my two favorites....a staple here. I joke that it makes sense since both sides of my family immigrated from England years ago
