What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?

Good morning menu crew! It poured rain last night and woke up to a wet, slushy dark gloomy day. I have a bit of a headache (weather related) and hubby is still home from work with the flu, its pretty nasty. I feel run down and can't seem to find my energy, its a priority and I am working on it. Any suggestions on how you keep your energy up?
Special shout out to Daisymom (Teena) having her RNY surgery today, you got this girl, God Bless, keep us posted when you can!

QOTD: Post weight loss surgery many of us struggle with the "mind body connection." I am 3 yrs & 1 month post op RNY I am at goal of 125 lbs (plus or minus a few pounds in the comfort zone of 125-130). I struggle daily with what I see in the mirror and what I know my weight is, they two do not connect. I wear size 2 or 4 in pants, some 6's depending on the cut/brand name. I can swear x-small or small on tops yet I always grab a medium in the store because that is where I think I should be. I fear wearing dresses because they tend to be more clingy to my body and I have no "big top" to hide under, I tend to wear tops that are loose on me and if I do wear something more form fitting I get asked all the time by family or co-workers "have you lost more weight???" No I haven't but when I "show off my body" which I am NOT comfortable doing I must look smaller because they don't say it when I wear my more lose clothes. I have a "stash" of MO clothes in my closet "just in case" I keep thinking I fit in them and I will need them. Its a crazy safety net. I actually feel uncomfortable when people say "Oh I wish I was skinny like you Daisy" or "we can't all be thin & fit like you Daisy." I feel like an impostor, in my mind I am not skinny or thin or fit, don't you all see the fat girl I see, the huge breasts, the massive stomach, the thunder thighs? Why am I the only one that sees that and everyone else sees something different. Oh right, they do surgery on our stomachs not our brains!!! Tell me do you struggle with this or have you been able to work on that mind/body connection?

Good morning everyone!
I have been lurking around for about a month now and know I need to get started posting and being more involved because things are moving so quickly.
I had my first consultation 12/9 and my first nutrition appointment 12/21. I just had my endoscopy yesterday. Now I have my psych eval and metabolic test 1/16 and my follow-up nutrition appointment 1/24. Then if all goes well I should be waiting on a surgery date!
I have been tracking my food, but not good at pre-planning. So hopefully posting on here will help! I have gotten some ideas from you all by reading through posts.
B- premiere protein shake
L- Oikos triple zero yogurt and moon cheese
D- Not sure exactly, we are having a family birthday dinner and I know there will be ham and hopefully some kind of non-starchy veggie. And hopefully I will have the will power to stay away from the potato salad and desserts!
Hope everyone has a great day!
