My husband would be watching the truck pull out of Fenway Park just so he could say he was there... to heck with that it is a three hour drive!

Morning Daisy and the menu gang!

Snow happening here too! Fireplace is on, and I'm ignoring the world for a little while. Daisy, friends of ours went through a similar situation as you when they moved into a neighborhood. Except it was the neighbors across the street, and it was causing a blind spot to get out of their driveway. Not fun.

qotd: we hAve great neighbours. We live in an older neighbourhood built in the early 60s. And there are a lot of original owners still here. But given most are in their 70s and 80s, there's starting to be a bit of a changing of the guard. I'm hoping for more younger families to move in, but the houses are smaller than a lot of people want, so I'm a bit worried it will shift towards rentals and student housing.

Menu

B: 1egg with an ounce of pork

L: tuna with chopped peppers and onion with a tsp of mayo

D: shepherds pie with cauliflower topping. I got lazy Sunday and never made it haha.

have great day everyone!

When ever I see someone say they are having one ounce of something I always check the surgery date....and say a sigh of relief that they are less than 6 months or a year out.... I remember those days...but they aren't now.

Good morning! It is still cold here in New England too, but is supposed to warm up tomorrow, which is my PS day (TT and mini-facelift). I'm getting a bit nervous, more about the aftermath than the actual surgery.

QOTD: We have mostly good neighbors. We've lived here for 2.5 years full time and was here on weekends for 5 years prior.  We get together socially with the people directly behind us and another neighbor 2 houses down.  We are friendly with all the other adjoining neighbors. We do have one neighbor kind of diagonally behind us who is odd - never says hello and puts their big barky dog out at 4 am and leaves it out barking for a LONG time.  We have dogs too, but pull them in immediately if they bark (and don't put them out at 4 generally). Another neighbor has parties for kids at least once a month with lots of cars blocking the street each time.  They also have young adults on the street playing basketball all the time.  Annoying, but not offensive.  We lived in our prior neighborhood for 20 years, so our kids grew up there. We loved our neighbors!  All the kids were within a few years of each other and ran around like a pack.  The adults would have "driveway" parties, which were ad-hoc parties started by a couple of us chatting in the driveway and more joining.  We would often progress to dinner either doing a pot-luck or ordering out.  The kids would be loud until it was dark when they would play quiet games (hoping we'd forget it was past bedtime).  Loved that neighborhood! We got together with some of them over the holiday and it was great connecting. Others are starting to move or talking about putting their houses on the market and downsizing, so it will continue to change, but it was a great place for our kids to grow up!

B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese, and roasted tomatoes/chilis *

L: tuna, pickles, cottage cheese *

D: Instant Pot Balsamic Roast Beef (if you saw my post yesterday, it didn't need any more cooking - wasn't really tough).

S: nut thins and hummus, low-fat cheese sticks, coffee, Swiss miss light cocoa

* Might substitute Kairk's recipe for a waffle for one of these, as I have the ingredients on hand (http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/vsg/6015264/Low-carb-waffl e/)

A mini is the lower part - to deal with my jowls and hanging skin under my chin.  All became very apparent after my face slimmed down.

Will this fix the skin under the chin on the neck? Because if it does.... I may have new wishes for Christmas in the future!

I just made (and ate) the waffle.  Are really good (and a good change of pace from my usual eggbeaters).  Also very filling.
