What's on your menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?

Good morning menu crew! Its snowing here! I love snow!!!! I am on the commuter train to work so I am safe & sound, no driving here, and people can't drive in my city in the snow, its a nightmare so I am glad I am on a train! Although I swear they are pumping cold air here on the train and I am FROZEN, legit my hands can barely type they are so cold. I can't catch a break ha ha ha
QOTD: Do you have good neighbours, bad neighbours, no neighbours? We live in a big subdivision, tiny house. We have some awesome neighbours and some I want to throat punch. For example. Our local TV station lets us know well in advance of any snow storm coming, its a bit over the top how much they go on and on but better talking about snow storms than "murder death Kill" (who can tell me that movie reference with out Googling it). So our next door neighbours to our left seem totally and completely clueless, about everything that comes with home ownership. They have a big driveway that can easily fit two cars but they consistently park one on the road in front of my house, and I mean daily. So we have lots of snow as of 5am, the wife's car is on the road, parked there overnight as she was too lazy to put it in her own driveway last nigth when she got home from work and we do have a bylaw that states you can't park overnight (unless you have guests & you can get a permit) but its not for day to day regular parking because you are too effing lazy to put your own car in your own damn driveway!!! I wouldn't care so much if it was once in a while, but its daily and they are just pure lazy and I just might throw frozen dog poop in their yard ha ha ha

QOTD. I have mostly great neighbors. Except for one house right next door. The owners couldn't sell during the housing crash 10 years ago, so they've been renting it, and the renters are terrible. I call them the Clampetts, after the Beverly Hillbillies. Or during Christmas, the Bumpuses, from Christmas Story, because they have a pack of hounds. They are just awful people. There are numerous cars parked permanently on the lawn. I wish they were only parked on the street.

Ugh. We have great renters on one side now, but a couple of years ago, we had a similar situation as you. Police were always there because of their adult son who was living there and a yard full of junk. Then, when they finally moved, my husband ran into the property manager and he said the inside of the house had to be gutted.
They lived there just around a year. turns out, they had 5 dogs, and we never saw them outside once. 5! They used the basement as a toilet.

It was 1 year, not 5, but still! I cannot imagine. I felt so bad for them. There must have been some significant mental illness involved. It was also shocking to realize how little you can know about the people living right next door!
