Hope I'm not driving everyone crazy. I'm so excited. Had my pre-op today and it went so well. The anaesthisist said everything looks great and so did the nurse. The hospital is amazing. The nurse walked me through exactly what my day would be like on Thursday. She said I would probably be in for 2 nights. This is a smaller hospital than where I was supposed to have the surgery so the surgeon that I met and the anaesthisist are the same people I will see in the operating room.  I really like that.

So excited!

good luck.  It's usually a piece of cake (pardon the reference)!  The worst part is the pre-surgery diet and that's almost over for you!

You are about to change your life in an incredible way!

So glad your pre-op went well!  Only 2 more sleeps; that's crazy soon!  It will be here before you know it!

I have my pre-op appointment tomorrow morning, and Toronto is supposed to get a blizzard tomorrow!  My friend was going to drive me but I'm going to get up early and if the weather is bad will try to get a cab or Uber instead so she won't have to drive.

I'm not sure if I have to start Opti immediately tomorrow or if I can start on Thursday morning.

Good luck with your surgery!

Hugs,

Kathy

Yes. Sadly I know all about the blizzard. The meteorologists have been wrong before. I have 2 jam packed days of work to get through so I'm hoping for an uneventful commute tomorrow. :)

I hope your commute was OK.  The weather wasn't bad here in Port Credit, although it did snow a bit.  I heard it was much worse outside of Toronto.  They closed the schools in Brampton and Mississauga.

Buses were cancelled put our way but I had no issues with my commute. Thank you for asking. How did your appointment go?

It went well.  Dr. Lindsay seems very nice, and knowledgeable, (and handsome, lol). Everyone on the team was kind to me and I'm all set to start Opti tomorrow.
