What's on your Menu today (Monday) RNYers?
Morning menus gang! Quick post from me- I'm heading to a mediation (aka waste of time cause I'm sure the employee won't agree to our offer). Weekend was good- worked Sunday, did a big grocery shop Saturday early then jus****ched the snow fall.
I feel like I'm falling apart with tiny, but annoying ailments. Part of my upper lip, has been oddly dry and today is cracked and bleeding. I think something in the plastic from the water bottle I drink from is not agreeing with my skin there. Then last night I realized I have toenail fungus. Yuck. I'm soaking in apple cider vinegar at night - and will visit the pharmacy for OTC treatments. My elbow is feeling better today at least.
QOTD: haven't been to a wedding in over 3 years now- I like them when I go- but rarely get invited to any. I'm shy so I keep to myself- and no way would I ever subject other to my awful interpretation of dance LOL.

It was a cold weekend for Texas! highs in the 30's and lows in the 20's. It's supposed to be back into the 80's this week. I redid my daughters room. I painted it a new color...can't remember the name but it's a Caribbean blue color. I went through all her stuff so now I have tons of bags of stuff to donate to the church. Next weekend I might move on to my room.
QOTD: I've never been to a big fancy wedding. I usually dread going to them but end up having fun. The ones that I've been to or was a brides maid in had buffet style food but I would choose beef. I would love to get to go to a huge fancy wedding one day.
B - Unjury chicken soup protein
L - Chicken thigh & asparagus
S - cheese stick
D - Either beef stew or grilled chicken salad. I put out meat for both to thaw.

late post. busy morning! Working from home today because of the uncleared 15 inches of snow in our town, which probably isnt much for you northerners, but makes Virginia freak out everywhere. I've been working, taking down the christmas stuff, watching/feeding/changing the little one, and its been super crazy!
Last night I finally tried making Fat Head pizza and with the homemade low carb crust. I made 1 for myself (fresh moz, tomato, basil, italian meatball) and another for my hubby and little one (Pepperoni & Meatball) and they both loved it! Hubby thought it was different yet it was still worthy of going back for seconds for him, an dmy son not only finished all the toppings but all the crust as well!

Good morning menu peoples!
It's still cold here - 9 degrees this morning and just like yesterday the ambient temperature in our house when we woke up was 57....bleh!
Schools are closed today and Hubby is going into work late so that the roads have some time to melt a bit more. We aren't going above freezing until tomorrow.
I got a nice surprise in my email box this morning, the psychiatrist emailed me to let me know that she'd made contact with my therapists and that everything was in order - she's shared that with the team and if that's the last piece (and I think it is!) we're good for finally submitting to the insurance. Cross your fingers for me that we'll have an answer back sooner than later
QOTD: I enjoy weddings - even though I tend to be tired from all the interaction afterwards. We are at an age where a good number of our friends and all of our siblings are married so we don't really have weddings to attend that often anymore. In a few years as nieces and nephews start to get up into the marrying age we'll have another run of them I'm sure! I like them more than the hubby does - neither of us are terribly coordinated people so dancing isn't really our thing unless it's a slow dance and even then I have to twist his arm to get him out on the dance floor.
Menu:
B: Scrambled eggs with cottage cheese, coffee
S: protein shake
L: pinto beans with cheese
S: protein granola bar
D: Chicken of some variety - veggies of some variety
I had really wanted to go for a walk today but with the kiddo off of school I'm going to keep him out of the cold and stay in, maybe I'll hop on the elliptical later!
Have a good day guys, stay warm!
