We had a relaxing weekend and the snow storm kept us inside and cozy!
QOTD: I enjoy weddings, but my husband doesn't and he's not a dance type person so we go and usually leave shortly after dessert.

Good morning! Cool and rainy, it's supposed to rain the rest of the week and need it badly, but I'm concerned about all the mudslides it's creating. Still feeling yucky, though much better than yesterday. Tylenol cold and flu really helped last night. It completely stopped my symptoms so I could sleep finally.
QOTD - For me, a good wedding is all about the people. If you have a good group it's fun. If everyone is stiff, not so much. I dance after I've a few drinks! Since I no longer drink, that may change...but now with the weight loss, maybe I would dance sober! I always order the beef. The chicken and fish always seem like a sketchy choice.
7 weeks since surgery
Tummy still feeling punky, food doesn't sound good yet. Maybe later.
B- coffee/water/vitamin water zero/tea

Good afternoon gang. Work has been crazy today. Quick summary of the weekend? Cold, restful, busy, fun...and I tried pole dancing for a hot minute. LOL No need to say more really.
Eating went well. I was too busy out and about to get the late night snacking problem really rolling. I am down to 121.4 this morning. Feeling pretty good. This new heart med is challenging for sure. I can feel the sluggish pull of it all the time and my concentration hasn't been great. I just keep drinking coffee and plowing on. I will adjust to it I am sure.
Menu: Homemade Greek yogurt and granola; L: Left over beef stroganoff; D: Grill beef or chicken of some kind (eating out with my Guy and one of my daughters tonight); S: Apple or low sugar oatmeal
Have a great day!

I've heard of pole dancing classes... but I'm really curious as to where the pole was that you were trying out... I bet there's an interesting story in there somewhere
I hope you get the meds all worked into your system and they quit making you feel different. That's the worst with new meds!

I made it in the Instant Pot with this recipe but yes, this is fairly high carb. Traded out the sour cream with homemade Greek yogurt but the noodles are still carby.
