Question about small pouch days
Not entirely sure that I have had this yet, as I am only just over four weeks RNY post op, but I can tell you from my LapBand days, that whenever I had my period, the pouch always seemed to hold less and my band seemed to be tighter. Not sure if having your period affects the RNY pouch at all, but it fascinated me when I had the band before my Revision surgery. Thought I'd mention it...
LapBand: 3.2.10
RNY: 12.9.16
Highest: 451
Morning of RNY: 283
Current: 195
Thanks everyone!
Im starting to think it's related to some constipation issues I'm dealing with. If nothing changes by this afternoon, I'll make an appointment with my Dr.
I'm plenty hydrated, started taking two doses of miralax daily since Friday. and a few weeks ago, started taking fiber supplements, which until now, have been super helpful. Today I also had full caffeine coffee instead of decaf.
I posted a menu today, but I think I'm going to stick with liquids at least until this afternoon, and see what happens.
open to suggestions on this too!

I call them bad pouch days. Mainly because if I try to force more protein, I get really nauseous. I just go with the flow and do my best to get my protein in. I usually have at least one day a week like that at this point.
