He also does the driveways of the elderly folks and the guy across the street who works til late and never takes any money for it. He tells them he likes playing in the snow and he does!

QOTD: I've never done video games. I think I played Donkey Kong a half dozen times when it was brand new. And Pong a few times before that.

If you count Freecell, I do play that a lot.

Good morn Ng everyone!  Day 4 of opti started!  Only 4 days left until surgery.

My oldest son is a big gamer but only for computer games. My youngest plays his PS3 occasionally but he prefers to watch YouTube videos.

We had the strangest weather yesterday. 8 kms down the road the highway was closed due to whiteout conditions but we had nothing. I was out running errands at the exact same time.

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.

77 lbs lost and counting!

Losing the regain! I got this!

Good Morning. last day with the Minions... :(  They may be back in June from India for visa reasons...not a definite... but our time was too short. My grandson says "I want to stay at NY Ama's forever" {{melt my heart}}

Well our 3 1/2 hour ride home from Lancaster yesterday took just shy of 8 hours. At hour 6 meltdowns were happening all over the place, and I am including the adults. So we pulled off and went to a diner for dinner, then did the final hour...

The place we stayed in was very nice, and highly recommend- Eden resorts in Lancaster.  In PA I was afraid they use the term 'resort' lightly, as I have stayed at many strange Bates motel/shining hotel kind of places there.... Additional bonus you could walk across the parking lot to a Sheetz gas station/convenience store and they have the BEST coffee.... It is also rocket fuel, I have driven 600 miles across the state of PA on one 12oz cup. Sometimes I think I should send it to a lab for testing to see what they actiually put in it...

Minions are out with my Ex right now, so I have a few minutes to post...

QOTD: Of course growing up my son loved all video games... I'm with Grim, played Pong growing up LOL...

B: 1 waffle, SF syrup, Scrambled eggs

L: Unknown

D: Dinner Italian sausage frittata with spinach

Snacks; Quest bar, Chocolate chai latte, yogurt, homemade trail mix

The piles of pretzels and other snacks get thrown out tomorrow when they leave...as well as the ice cream. Probably going to do CAMAW this week to feel food sane...

Good morning everyone. It's a bright sunshiny day here in my area of Southern Ontario, woke up to a light dusting of snow that covered the driveway but wasn't enough to cover the grass. All of our December snow melted on Boxing Day and it's been clear here until this morning.

I feel like this week I've finally got all of the parts of this process working together. I'd been so focused on the food part that the water and vitamin goals were barely being met and exercise had been all but forgotten with the exception of some walking. I finally feel like I'm firing on all cylinders and mentally it's been a huge boost. I have my one month follow ups with the nurse and dietitian tomorrow (delayed by the holidays) and I'm hopeful I'll see a 100 lb loss from my first weigh in.

Edited for QOTD We had an Atari system when we were kids and I didn't own another game system until I was married. My ex and my current BF both have the same tendencies for gaming, get a new game and play it religiously, and then don't touch the system again for months or years. I use the PS3 to "play" Zumba and I do play Clash of Clans on my phone.

Good morning menu buddies!

Right after my post yesterday it actually started snowing for real, so we bundled up and went outside for about 30 minutes to let the kiddo have a ball in the snow.  He was THRILLED to bits.  Then we came back inside and stayed warm for the rest of the day.  It got uncommonly cold here last night - in fact we are having a 4 day long cold snap.  It means the stuff that manages to melt during the day refreezes at night and makes the roads hazardous so we are staying in for the remainder of the weekend and possibly tomorrow as well.  I'm using the indoor time to make freezable meals because I do LOADS better with eating properly if I have healthy options.   I definitely haven't been drinking enough water - but yesterday my little bubba keg arrived and it holds 72oz...so I am filling it up each morning and doing my best to make a significant dent in it.

QOTD:  I love today's question because I am indeed a gamer - my gateway game system was an Atari2600 and a Colecovision, and then I got a Nintendo for Christmas the year they came out and that cemented my love of video games permanently.   I also enjoy PC gaming - started with the old DOS screen Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and I still play Warcraft when I have time.  Our son has become quite the mario player on our WiiU, but he's got the genes for it.  My hubby works at a gaming company and once the kiddo heads to school full time I'd like to try and get a job there as well.

Menu:

Breakfast - Unjury Protein Shake, Coffee

Snack - TBD

Lunch - Pinto beans w/cheese

Snack - TBD

Dinner - Chicken, wild rice, green beans

Have a great rest of the day folks!

Good morning!! Don't forget to stop at IKEA today-haha! Can't believe Grim is already out there with the snow blower. Good luck with your potential renter today. You made me think I need to make crust again-it's been awhile.

QOTD- nope, no gamers here. We have an old Atari that occasionally we will pull out and I'll play some Frogger.

We got some rain yesterday but not bad, they are saying thunderstorms this afternoon. Tomorrow is the first day back to school for Em after the three week break so have to make sure everything is ready for the morning but other than that nothing planned.

Menu: B: latte, eggbeaters with shredded cheese and turkey sausage links L: apple chicken sausage and carrots S: Siggi yogurt and 1/2 an apple D: albacore tuna melt.

Got in my 6 miles this morning and water and vits on track.

Be safe everyone!
