NSV mistake
Buying new clothes? Following is a warning to help with your new purchases: after decades of ordering clothes from a plus-size catalog in the color black only, I was clueless how to shop. The closet is already in need of a revamp after recently reading about color analysis. I went nuts with color finding out things like skin tone, age, and more should dictate what to buy. I pretty much goofed all the way around. The experts say women naturally gravitate to what color is best---aaah, not when high on excitement buying anything and everything in sight that fits. Anyway, youtube a ton of videos on color analysis and good luck choosing a wardrobe that will compliment and enhance your new look.
I remember color analysis being a huge thing in the 80's - I have a book around here somewhere, and I went to a workshop. I'm a "winter". Although I always tended to gravitate toward my colors anyway. I'm glad it's back, though - some people really don't have a sense of this. And you're right - people used to buying everything in black (or other dark colors) for years and years because of their weight might find it helpful as they start feeling more comfortable wearing lighter and brighter colors.

My sister did color analysis in the 80's and 90's. I still have my color swatch booklet!! Great advise!!

I so totally want to see you in every new piece of clothing!
I bought a crazy giant paisley shirt recently, very bright colors. And it is one of my favorite things!
I'm doing some research today... everything I have is great or black ...

So interesting ... I'm a pure/clear spring which means a very very bright color palette . Looks like I HAVE to go shopping ... darn ... I hate it when that happens
