The laws in MA are actually why my son was able to have his top surgery this summer covered by my insurance! My company has headquarters in MA and so our Blue Cross Blue Shield policy is based off of MA laws.  Thus...transgender protections in place.  He is really wanting to go to MIT so he is looking that direction. Hoping his test scores can carry him there despite is fairly average grades. Maybe MIT admissions will take pity on the poor little guy with great SATs from rural TX. LOL Two more years and we will see. For now... just keep trying to keep him safe and healthy.

Tel him that is he is interested in MIT to start getting those grades SKY HIGH right now! They take pity on no one... But there are other good science schools in the area that don't have quite the same name recognition to consider, but are still wonderful like: Worcester Polytech Institute (WPI), University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Northeastern, Boston University, Tufts, etc... Let's talk more off line if you want some more thoughts :)

Will keep that in mind!  Right now he is still only in 10th grade and no matter what I say he rolls his eyes and says, "Mother, I know I need better grades.  I worry about them all the time.  You are just adding to my anxiety and that is counterproductive." Gotta love the counselor's kid right? He drives me crazy sometimes. I adore him...but crazy-making.

Morning everyone! I am posting from home because of the weather here in Oklahoma this morning... OK, OK, so for those of you North of us, don't laugh, but we got about 2-3" of snow, and all schools are closed, and most businesses are at least on a delayed schedule. I planned on staying home though all along Shhhhh... But of course, Karma knocked, and when I looked outside, I have a flat tire!!! So, that definitely seals the deal on where I'm working!

So critters were roaming last night, and we have some interesting paw prints on our front porch! I'll use those as one of my pictures(It's like they were peeping in the windows at the front door, looking to see who's home! Damnit, too close critters!) What are those BIG ones anyway???!!.. .and also a picture of DH and I all dressed up for NYE... While my dress is black lace, and it looks A LOT like the other dress I tried on for Christmas, it turns out it's not the same one! But it is a size TEN... and I had a great time in it!

B: plenty of coffee with Fairlife and SF Syrup... and an egg muffin I made last night (Thanks Deanna, My daughter and I made them, hope they are good!)

L: I'll be at home... maybe leftover taco meat

D: Smothered pork chops with mushrooms and homemade green beans

S: Likely more coffee!

I made it through yesterday CLEAN!!!! Many circles made in the kitchen, many cabinets opened and closed, but I did it! Yay! Weight this morning 161.4... can I blame that on the new batteries? It's not up, but I really want it to start dropping so I can hit the 100lb milestone!!!

Paw prints... I think that's a strange print with only 3 pads up front!

The prints are rabbits! Awww cold wittle bunnies! The two front paws (the little round prints) are always one before the other but their back feet are always together.

You look amazing BTW! Love the dress!
