Good Morning!!!
Luxury items for myself is a tough one. I'm one of those people who loves making sure everyone else base special things...but for myself...hmmmm. I was getting my nails done every two weeks before my surgery. That's gotta count, right? But I stopped that in late November. Huh, guess I'll have to come up with a new fancy LUXURY for myself!

Good morning!
QOTD: I think my luxuries are probably pedicures in the summer, also a hot bath almost every night in the winter. I need to get some froo-froo bath stuff to throw in there, my favorite is the B&B works sugar scrub. I will splurge on some food items like smoked salmon (made myself some delicious smoked salmon with cream cheese and capers on cucumber slices the other day) and do the Patch MD vits too, although I don't consider that a luxury since I couldn't hack the regular vitamins. Oh and I get my hair cut and colored/highlighted every 4 weeks. No roots here. That's a luxury!

S- greek yogurt (already eaten this--good Lord--see separate post about this)

Good morning menu fam!
So my notice to my boss went unbelievably well, not only because I'm professional and give good notice (2.5 weeks), but because I fibbed and told him that I'm leaving to help the hubby run his retro video game business (instead of the fact that i actually found something working for one of his competitors). Not a total lie since i run hubby's marketing campaign, web site, and design his corporate identity. I don't think my boss needs to nkow where I'm going, I don't owe him that, and honestly don't care if he finds out where I am after I leave.
I bought that protien hot chocolate (Thanks Daisy!) at my center the other day when i ws there for my 4 month. Gonna try one today as my snack! cant wait!
I'm excited about reaching goal and shopping for a new wardrobe. Currently I'm thrifting for transition clothes, but i keep browsing/researching some sites (J Crew Factory, Banana Rep, WHBM, etc) for what may be in season or on sale for my 1 year surgeversary shopping spree at the outlets here in williamsburg (i've saved a couple grand for this). I'm super duper excited.
Also, because of Emepie/Kelly's post on hand pies, I also discovered a recipe for Fathead pizza (low carb crust!) that i cant wait to try! I'm really starting to love this new life post WLS!
QOTD: 60 min massages at Aveda, Pedis. Starbucks used to be a treat but right now I dont trust it and if i go I only order tea (unsweetened). you could say i "invest" in good quality make up (Mac, Urban Decay, Smashbox, etc) so i dont know if that could be considered a treat.

Glad your boss took it well! Now let's hope he doesn't talk to someone that spills the beans to him, and he doesn't turn into the A$$ you know he can be!

Good Morning everyone! Sounds like a super cold one for everyone and everywhere! QOTD: Had to really put some thought into this one. But seems like getting a tattoo once a year for last 2 years and one scheduled for next week (this year) would be one of my luxury's. I only have a couple but I am at the age and point in my life where I don't have to worry so much about the impression they may give others (due to work etc). I enjoy them so that is all that matters.
B: coffee
L: left over chicken salad
D: game night so.....
