Good morning everyone. Its 18 and blustery in the Pacific Northwest. I am off to work this morning. I have not been back since my surgery. They close over the winter holiday and we have had a few snow days.
QOTD- My luxury item is bedding. I love soft good quality bedding! My room is my sanctuary. I also love bath stuff. We remodeled our house a few years ago and I have a huge tub for two. We put in a 5 ft sliding window next to the tub. I love a bubble bath in the evenings with my window open and the sound of our creek.
My scale is not really moving still. I have lost 2 lbs in 3 weeks. I know this has got to be a stall, but it really messes with my head. I am measuring and weighing everything and getting in at least 80 ounces of water a day. I keep wondering if I am doing something wrong or maybe my body is rebelling for all those years of yoyo dieting.
B- light and fit greek yogurt
L- 2 ounces of peppered turkey breast 1 ounce light swiss cheese
D- 2 ounces baked cod
S- 2 ounces cottage cheese
Ever since surgery, I've hit points during the time that I was CONVINCED it wasn't going to work... I wasn't going to lose anymore... and I was a complete freak that couldn't lose weight...
Then the scale would move.
Even today... it's been 7.5 months, and I'm waiting (not so) patiently for a 1lb loss so I can 'celebrate' a 100 pound loss... and there's a part of me that thinks "OK, I'm done... this is IT... 99lb loss is as good as you can do"
Sigh.
You WILL get past this part... it's not your past yo-yo dieting... it's just part of the process (and our warped brain has to mess with us)! Hang in there

Hello from freezing cold Boston! I left my thermal earmuffs at work yesterday and I have a 1.5 mile walk from the train to work that's going to be miserable... :(
I think I found where you left the rest of your pouch, lol. I think I ate more steak than Grim last night at dinner. Other than accidentally falling into a jar of Nutella last night, I've stuck to my plan, though. Scale still won't budge but I am confident that it will. There's just no reason to be holding on to these 2lbs.
QOTD: I also indulge in expensive coffee. And vitamin patches. And audiobooks. And clothes. And shoes. And craft supplies. And... I spent a long time working hard for a very low salary. Now I can afford more, and I don't mind getting a nice quality when I purchase things.
B: Fit Frappe coffee and deli Roast Beef wrapped around a cheese stick.
S: Greek yogurt
L: Chef Salad (no dressing--I forgot it!)
S: Balanced Break
D: either spiral ham or steak tips.
Hope you all have a great day!
