Lol- I drank the shake and felt nothing. Still hungry.  Half hour later it was better.

Drink your shakes and drink water between.  That will help with the "hunger."

It does get easier. After about 3 days I wasn't even hungry. Sugar free Popsicles were my my best friend!

If your program allows broth or jello, I'd add them in as snacks to help bridge between shakes. Especially the first couple of days.

agreed - I think the salt in the broth made me feel a little fuller - and the Jello made me feel like I was eating something solid.  I ate a lot of SF Jello, in fact....

I think it said sodium free or low sodium broth so I may add some of that - just because it will feel more like real food.

The broth is also good to cut the sweetness of the shakes. I just bought a carton of veggie broth and warmed up a half cup every now and then.

The sugar fee ice-pops really helped me get through it! I still eat them all the time as well as sugar free jello. Yes those were my best friends during the protein shake period!

I'm so glad you were/are active here before your surgery. We get to count down and be excited with you! I miss those days! Eeeeekkk!!! So exciting!!
