Good morning DD2 and gang!  Another balmy day here.  17 degrees F.  I have not been able to get down my own street since Monday due to ice.  My big splurge?  I bought studded tires yesterday.  I can now drive to the frozen tundra of Canada to see you Daisy ;)

QOTD:  Besides my tires?  I am a clothes addict at the moment.  Went shopping again yesterday.  Bought more sweaters.  I am so cold these days... and I need all the sweaters.  Everywhere.  I tried on everything I saw... cannot believe I am fitting into some mediums!  Must stop shopping... but boy, is it keeping me on the straight and narrow with my eating.  No trouble at ALL sticking to my program.

B:  Premier Protein caramel with coffee

L:  Yoplait Protein Black Cherry

D:  Cottage cheese with pepper, 2 slices cheese

S:  10 kalamata olives, beet salad, SF hot cocoa

Daisy, Nikolai is allergic to chicken, wheat, corn, etc. also.  I can always tell when someone has sneaked him a bite of forbidden food . . . he starts itching like crazy and his fur falls out by the handful (kinda like my hair is doing right now! )  When that happens its time to go to the vet for allergy medicine (apoquel is amazing if you can get it) and antibiotics.

I know right Stacy, I can always tell when someone sneaks my dogs forbidden food!  They get instant ear infections and their hair falls out and the pads of their feet get hot, like uncomfortably hot.  And yes Apoquel we had Oliver on that this past summer, worked amazing for him, but it made Amy sick to her stomach so we had to give her something else (Vanectyl-P) it worked.   Drives me mental when people give my dogs food AFTER I tell them not too!!

Good morning everyone. Exceeded my step goal again yesterday and made arrangements to borrow a bike trainer thingy (since I don't know what they're actually called)... a contraption that converts your road bike into to a stationary bike. I'm by no means a cyclist but it seems worth a try at least. In scale news I've been anxiously awaiting reaching the 100 lbs lost mark and while it's unofficial since I only record on Mondays I have seen numbers putting me over that mark for the past two mornings so I'm pretty psyched about that. I've got a long way to go but it's a huge boost to my mood and motivation. 

QOTD I'm currently looking at reentering the workforce so right now my 'luxury' items are heat and hydro but generally I'm a quality over quantity person. My financial independence had always been very important to me and there have been times (throughout my divorce and trying to keep my house on my own etc) that I was forced to be very frugal. It taught me that there was lots of things I could function quite well without but I will treat myself to an item of quality on occasion. I like having nice things; good boots and shoes, a nice coat and maybe a couple purses but I don't have lots of any of those things. Oh and my favourite perfume which is D&G Light Blue so it looks like I'm going to have to make the rest last until my birthday in April. Lol

I have my 3 month check up with my surgeon today. I'm looking forward to seeing how my blood work comes back. I wish I could stand on his scale butt naked but I did wear my lightest clothes... for winter anyway. I've lost plenty but it's that old feeling of wanting to have that scale as low as possible. Some mornings I wake up and can just feel that I've lost weight. Other mornings I feel like a tubbo.... today is a tubbo day... ha ha

QOTD: I love to have dinner out with my husband as often as possible. Keeps the house cleaner and it seems like we can talk and visit more when we are forced to sit there waiting, plus with the leftovers, I have food for days as snacks after work.

Good morning!!

I think I am starting to experience hunger again, but I'm not sure. I get this really weird empty feeling and after I eat, I feel better. So far, it's not driving me to eat, just an observation.

QOTD - My luxuries are always getting my hair and toes done, sweaters and cute boots!!!!
