What is this "full" you speak of?
Angela, I am so glad you posted this!!
I am 16+ weeks out from bypass, and I have been super frustrated since the swelling from surgery went away. Since that time I have felt lost. My pouch was a big black hole of nothingness. Never did I feel ANYTHING from my pouch, nor did I have any food aversions. I was able to tolerate solid dense protein from 5 week and on. I also felt real hunger, not acid or reflux, or "head hunger".
** Everyone's journey is different, believe me, this journey WASN'T easy.**
For the past two days, my pouch has some feeling. I have sensation while and after eating. I have also stopped before my 4oz portion was completed, feeling the runny nose and sneeze!!
Please be patient, it will come!! I totally understand. I will be here for support if/when you need it. You can always PM me if you want!!

I just started feeling "hungry and full" just recently. The hungry piece made me stop this weekend as I had just finished a nice lunch. I did a self check and decided it was boredom and got up and did some activity. That and some water - magic it went away. Also I did feel full after eating dense protein and a salad. I'm not good at judging salad yet. I make them too big. But my pouch is starting to give me some signs. Also I think I got the Eggface hiccup that seems to trigger about 2/3rds the way through my meals. I'm starting to listen to it as a good cue for "satisfied." But the advice from Grim is spot on. Hungry for us is a trick.
Thank you all so much for this outpouring of information and help! I'm a HUGE overthinker and brooder (though getting smaller now ;-) ), and I can get way up inside my head about things like this. You've really brought me back to reality with this.
