Taking Rx meds after RNY?

You have this problem early with not being able to swallow and also the unknown factor of how much the medicine will be absorbed.

Many people come off the blood pressure meds and reduction of diabetic meds. Gotta work with your doc on that. Don't stop meds cold turkey wirhout dr. Knowledge.

For the rest of your life you are going to have to know all your meds and anytime you start a new drug the doctor must know about your changed anatomy..You'll need to learn the drugs that aren't advised anymore.

I still mourn Advil.

I take 3 pills at night. The only thing I noticed is that they get stuck. So more water. Love my meds as they help me live.
