What's on your Menu Today (Wednesday) RNYers?
Just think how much more uninterupted sleep you would get!!! Don't get me wrong - I definitely use my snooze button- but I start about when I should get up, and sometimes I get up, and other times I snooze until the last possible mn. I actually set multiple alarms on my phone - I have a different tone for the very last- point of no return alarm so that I know I have to get up and hustle. My husband on the other hand uses an old fashioned digital clock (from the 70s) and doesn't even bother hitting snooze unless I nudge him. He will just let it BEEP BEEP BEEP. It would seriously wake up the whole house before he woke up.

Losing the regain! I got this!
Good morning! No idea what's on the menu. Optifast starts tomorrow so I'm kind of hoping that someone will go to our local Hakka chelsie near place as I'd love some chilli chicken. But if not that's okay too. 8 days until surgery!!
QOTD- I take a long time to fall asleep and I wake up much more easily than I used to. Lately I've been waking up tired - we are getting a new mattress next week and our old one is done. So I think that's the problem. Hoping to have the new mattress delivered before surgery.

Good luck with the optifast. I wish I had the mental preparation that you've been doing with us. You are already at a great start and I only see great things in your future!

Thank you! I can't tell you guys how grateful I am for this thread. I feel like you're all setting me up for success... When my surgeon told me the statistics for weight loss surgery, I just thought - well I know all these awesome people who made it to goal and are staying there. To be fair - she is awesome - she was far less conservative about the goal - she said 70% of excess weight- I've heard anywhere from 50 - 65 from others - and she didn't tell me I couldn't achieve 100%, she just tole me I would have to work very hard to get there.

Morning!
off to a virtual golf range, then to Montreal. Having a great holiday, but looking forward to my little routines!
Qotd:medium I guess. I've always been a good sleeper. Before my husband got his Cpap machine a few years ago, I got in the habit of using earplugs. So if I'm someplace a bit noisy I just pop em in!
Menu: hopefully the last day for a while where I say I have no idea!
