What's on your Menu Today (Wednesday) RNYers?
Good morning DD2 and gang... Frosty here, a balmy 17 degrees.
QOTD: Light sleeper. Some nights my mind gets going and it is hard to turn off. And lately I have that middle of the night thing... wake up and every problem I ever had in my life comes up for evaluation.
B: Premier Protein chocolate with coffee
L: Siggi Skyr Berries and acai (love!)
D: Cottage cheese with pepper, salad with red bell peppers
S: Babybel? Or Syntrax fuzzy navel, or protein cocoa depending no how cold I get
Have a great day everyone!
Good morning all! I'm brand new to this site but so happy that I landed on this page! I'm 15 months post op RNY and at goal! Was able to get a new left knee this past October due to getting rid of over 140 lbs. Working on getting back to a better exercise routine as I'm being discharged from my physical therapy.
Anyway, I am a very light sleeper and always have been. Of course I have to get up and go to the bathroom about every 2 hours and that doesn't help. Right now it's almost 60 degrees out but we are already preparing for a wintry mess heading out way and so of course the grocery stores will be packed. (I live in NC)
B: decaf coffee with 1/2 and 1/2 and 30 grams of protein powder ( I really have problems with food in the pouch in the ams.)
L: lean bbq pork, black beans, bbq slaw
S: salted caramel yogurt with almonds
D: roast beef and cheese roll up, fresh spinach, tomatoes, balsamic vinegar
S: Yogurt with sprouted seeds and unsweetened coconut shreds
V: Bariatric chewables
L: lots of decaf coffee and tea
E: 45 min. of water walking at the pool
Thanks so much for having this tread! I hope to learn a lot from all of you!
I live just outside of Greensboro. Born and raised in New England and came to NC in 1974 and have lived in NC ever since.
we moved there in 1976 and then I moved back to the Midwest (now in Wisconsin) in 1986. So ten years. I lived in Raleigh for about three years and then up in Watauga and Avery counties (Boone-Blowing Rock area) for the other seven. My brother & father are still up in the NC mountains, so I get back there a lot!
