What's on your Menu Today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Sorry question of the day! I do not own a cel phone, my husband bought me one a couple of years ago, and in 1 years time I turned it on and called our daughter just to see if I knew how to do it, that was the only time I used it so I see no reason in having one and the expense of it.

Small pouch days lately. I am 203 this morning, closing in on the magical One-derland. Cannot wait! My body is weird. I go couple of weeks with nothing and then 5-8 pounds within a couple of days. I am learning not to be too attached to the scale.

That's how I lost weight prior to surgery and a hysterectomy... it was like clock-work... I'd start my period, and my weight would drop.
Now it's more like a once a week thing... maybe every 10 days... no realy rhythm or rhyme that I have figured out yet.
Oh yes... eating right and drinking ALL of my water helps a bit!

Happy New Year, menu posters! Daisy, I'm so happy that you had a great vacation, and I am glad that you are back!
QOTD: This is sad...Snapchat, messaging, Facebook in that order!
I've been at a stall for the past few days. Boo. I'm thinking about not weighing myself until next week so I won't be so disappointed. I am glad that the holidays are over. However, I wasn't that bad. I didn't eat any holiday sweets except for some Quest Protein bar cookies...recipe I got from Egg Face....and I only had two...one on Christmas Eve, one two days later. Tossed the rest out. I also made a cherry cake for my MIL's bday. I didn't eat a slice, but I did taste a crumb that was left on the cake plate just to make sure it tasted alright. That was it, nothing more, nothing less. I know that that one crumb, not even a full bite, didn't hurt me, but it didn't do me any justice either. As much as I was prodded and begged to have a taste of this or that or heard, "one bite won't hurt you," I still did not cheat except for the one crumb, so I feel pretty proud of that.
Time since RNY: 36 days
Weight this morning: 216 (and I don't know why I am so disappointed, but I just need this number to move in the right direction instead of not moving at all) Do I sound like a "Negative Nancy" today, or what?
B: String Cheese, half banana
L: Leftover roast, green beans, sweet potato
S: Tuna w/ Balsamic
D: Leftover roast, green beans, sweet potato this will be my 4th meal of the one sweet potato I baked, and I will still have more left
S: Protein bar, if needed
L/V: on Track
E: a little weight training this evening, but not planning to over-do it. I am having a strange stress type pain in between my shoulders, odd, but going to make appt with Chiropractor to see if he can do some damage.
TOTALS: 711 calories, 73 protein, 41 carbs (First day on MFP, new goal. Won't let me close the day out, and I didn't add the protein bar, because I don't feel like I will need it. I tend to not eat much after dinner.)
*edited to add my totals

It won't let you close out the day because it wants you to have more calories... you can just go on and it doesn't hurt a thing

Well....It won't be getting any extra calories out of me. I'm thinking that my calories were too high, but I just hate throwing food away. I'm on day three of eating the roast, and I'm about done with it. All the sides, too. Kids and hubby are having the leftovers sides from that meal tonight. I am not! I think I'll have some fish or chicken or tuna or something other than the roast for supper. Guess I'll have to update MFP

Good morning all and Happy New Year! Daisy, I was so jealous seeing pictures from Christmas. Looks like you all had a great time. It amazes me how many relationships formed as a result of this site, and specifically this thread. I love having you all as my extended family!
DQOTD: MFP, Facebook and Pinterest
Here's my plan. Trying to stay very protein heavy for the next few days. I have an appt with my surgeon and am up 2 lbs since my last appt. I sent him a warning text this morning. I figure I won't be able to get that off by my appt at 11:30 so offense is the best defense!
B: Leftover New York Strip roast (This is delicious. I covered it in horseradish mustard before roasting. It is amazingly tender . . . you don't even need a knife to cut it) (4.1 oz)
L: Chicken Thigh meat (4.0 oz) and sweet potato chunks (1/4 cup -- measured out . . . no more eyeballing)
D: Chicken and Broccoli (weight TBD but I counted 3.8 oz of chicken and 2 stalks of broccoli in my totals)
S: Skinny vanilla latte and turkey deli meat or 1/2 salami and Provolone pack (Costco run this weekend . . . I hate when a package says it contains 1.5 servings . . . don't make me do math just to eat food!!!)
Totals: Cal: 979; Protein: 107g; Fat: 36g; Carbs: 32g
Drives me batty when you pick up a small pack of nuts, and then you read the nutritional information and they 'cheat' by telling you there are 2 servings in the bag... like, really people? Just fess up and let us have the full bag nutritional information up front! I could never actually make those things the actual 'serving' on the guidelines... like if it was one bag, I ate one bag...

Exactly! And what is it with the 1.5 servings? 2 I can get with; count the slices and divide by 2 and eat. 1.5? I don't want to have to work that hard for my food. This package is even worse because they give you the nutritional information for the meat and the cheese separately. So, not only do I have to determine how many slices of each are in a serving, I also have to then add the calories and protein to get the total. No bueno.
