Wow, rice does the opposite to me. One bite and I'm bloated, sick, and miserable for HOURS. I tried white rice once and brown rice another time. Nope, nope, nope.

Right?!?!?! I've had rice a few times before and it doesn't make me sick but it has been super filling and I have to focus on protein first or I won't be able to eat anything but the rice. This time....it fell into the same vortex that popcorn falls into apparently.  Was so weird.

Also...I just remembered I ate an Enlighten ice cream bar in there too at some point. 

It was sooooooo weird.

Today...Haven't even felt hungry enough to finish my slacker lunch/breakfast combo of Greek yogurt and strawberries. I guess the pit filled up. 

Pouches are weird.

I'm with you JB. I can't eat rice or pasta even a tiny bit without being miserable for hours. I guess I should be glad as it keeps me away from them.

Good morning menu peeps!! I've been gone for way too long but being off work with my kids was so nice! And I was so bad! I ready to have my routine back. I feel like a slug haha.

yikes - I only got to glance at this briefly this morning because I had to be at work early.  Now that I'm ready to post, there's a ton of other postings!  I"ll go through these as I can, but just wanted to post my menu before 100 more postings pop up!!  It's clear that the holidays are over and everyone's back - yay!  (well, yay everyone's back - boo that the holidays are over!)

 

today is my 19th month anniversary, so pics tonight.  I usually take my measurements on my anniversaries as well, but I did that last night.  For the first time in forever, my waist is actually smaller than my bust measurement!  (I'm an apple shape).  Yay!!  I looked back at my measurements from when I first started my supervised diet, and my mid-thighs are now smaller than my mid-upper arm was when I started - crazy!!!

 

QOTD:  I have a smart phone, but I really don't take full advantage of it.  It's hard to see and work on the little tiny screen.   I just use the functions mostly to text, send a quick email, or look up directions or something.  The only time I do more than that is if I'm trying to kill time - like while waiting in the dentist's office.  So the apps I used most are Clock (to set my alarm), Fitbit, and Messenger.

 

B:  homemade Greek pumpkin yogurt with 2 T oats (soaked overnight), 1 T Kashi Crunch granola

S:  Double SF protein mocha latte, coffee with half & half

L:  meeting a friend for lunch, so not sure - something protein-forward and bariatric-friendly

D:  either leftover zucchini lasagna or leftover cassoulet

 

may have a L&F yogurt this evening if I can afford the calories, but may not be able to!!

 

exercise:  I did weights, stationary bike, AND water aerobics yesterday, so may take a break tonight

Congratulations on the progress.  That is crazy to think of how much have changed.  I wish I had taken measurements before. Keep up with it. You are doing so great!

Well I am back again, we had a huge snow and was without power for a day and a half, then got back up and going and the wires to the cable for our computers went haywire, so my husband jerry rigged us up until the cable company gets here today to get us back up and running right!

Glad to see you back daisydoo!  Glad you had a great holiday!!
