Exciting NSV

So excited - have started buying clothes in regular department stores! Still in the plus sizes but it's just a treat to be in someplace where I can see cuter clothes in smaller sizes. Very motivating. Tried on some smaller pants as the ones I wear now are getting pretty baggy. They were a good fit but yikes, I need some shape wear for the sagging upper legs and belly. I'm reluctant to get anything too constrictive b/c it leads to tummy issues. Any suggestions?

Congratulations on the new shopping experiences!  Fun stuff. I like the Flexxes which are inexpensive and not overly tight.  Keep in mind you are likely going to continue to change sizes.  I wish I could go back and not buy as much as I did at each size.  I kept thinking, "Surely I won't get smaller than this?" and then would.

Best to you!

I use flexees too. They are not too constructive and smooth out the lumps and bumps.

Yep! Maidenform Flexees are the way to go. Much cheaper than some ive bought over the time. You can get them at wally world but I find for me the highwaisted ones for me are the best. The ones I bought were on sale for twelve and some change down from 15. It is difficult to find them in the store so now you have to get them online. The ones I wear are very constrictive but Flexees i think does sell the ones that are thinner. They are the ones that are in the packaging.  Good luck.

I bought THIS for my holiday dresses... I LOVE it. But I've not heard of the Flexee stuff before...

I bought that in a size smaller than what I would have worn, and it tucks me all in, but I can breath and don't feel like I'm in a sausage casing. I also got it at Kohl's, on sale, and earned Kohl's Cash LOL... But I'm a freak that doesn't  shop at the W store...

Was looking for some shapewear/smoothwear this past weekend.  Found Flexees at Wal-mart!  Score...because my little town has nothing but Wal-Mart, dollar stores, and Bealls.

I also like the maidenform fleexies with the high waist. They have some that are a little looser so I can wear them all day.  I buy mine on Amazon.

I surprising don't have much loose skin but I have a small muffin top.  I think it's just the way I'm built - even many years ago before surgery at 5'6" and 130 lbs I had one.  I like the Spanx full body slips for really tight fitting dresses.
