Recipe hunting!
One of the things I've been doing while I wait for approval is collecting all sorts of recipes for my post-surgery lifestyle
I'm looking for suggestions....your favorite places to find good recipes, or even any that you absolutely love.
I know it's very likely my tastes will change after surgery so I'm trying to make sure I have lots of ideas at my fingertips and I've found quite a few in WLS cookbooks, pinterest, and even OH groups....just wanting even more because what can it hurt?
Thanks guys!

Suggest that you also (or more importantly) investigate non-food activities to pick-up post op. One important outcome of WLS is that food can take it's appropriate place in our lives, which usually means a much smaller place for most of us who were MO.
I suggest that you search for new hobbies and activities - hiking paths close-by, or other fun activities. Leave the food stuff for later.

I've always been a bit of a foodie, so my usual places to look are epicurious.com and the NY Times cooking section (I get it delivered digitally - via email). Many of the recipes at both places are not bariatric-friendly, though, so I often have to make modications. Some I can't make at all - but many are modify-able.
Definitely a good suggestion, and I appreciate it. I'm actually not much of a foodie, which is part of my problem.....because instead of planning/cooking healthy meals it's far easier to just eat whatever is available in the pantry or take-out. I'm already working to avoid that so I'm trying to be as prepared as possible.
As for hobbies post-WLS...I really love going for walks when my knees are agreeable to it, and we have lots of paths here :)

You will LOVE the impact of weight loss on your knees. I was sore all the time before my weight loss - sore back, sore knees, even sore tummy. Once I started losing weight, the pain started going away and I had more energy and desire to move around more. I'm feeling better than I have in years!

Here's a link to a "Eggface's" wonderful blog that many of us find helpful: http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com There are tons of quick food and recipe ideas there.
I do agree with the suggestion that you develop other hobbies and interests too. I enjoy good food but it's a secondary pleasure now.
