OK I want your menu today...start to finish sounds delicious. Add a little avocado to that salad and you would have my dream salad.

Since I complained about gaining 6 lbs since Wednesday in yesterday's post... Wednesday is my official-record my weight day. I figured I'd update...I drank lots of fluids yesterday but could still see so was significantly swollen in my legs...So finally broke down and took a diuretic....leftover from my blood pressure med days (nurses don't yell at me) ... I did throw out a message to PS -because of my leg trauma drama last summer-he said  it could still happen...,So overnight lost 4lbs. Incredible that that is even possible.

QOTD: not a grocery store couponer although do use Macy's/Kohl's/BBB etc coupons. Shop the deals....

B: coffee with Miralax/fairlife Fuzzy navel smoothie

LS: egg and cheese on 60 calorie Jisephs pita

L: salad with chicken and maybe more toppings if I can get it together:)

D:???

snacks: Greek yogurt, chocolate chai, leftover meatballs

I've been toying with taking a diuretic too- but don't have any. Any knowledge on diuretics options? Googling returned bananas (potassium) but I fear the sugar/carbs isn't worth it, or things I'm not interested in trying i.e.- 'dandelion'.

Usually lemon water does the trick. Drinking first thing warm in the morning like herbal tea is the best.

I also do a concentrated homemade lemonade.....I saw this on Pinterest .....I have a good blender - wash and quarter 3-4 whole lemons, sometimes one lime- ... put in blender with one quar****er with skins and all. My blender has a pulse button- so hold the lid and pulse . Needs to be strained though... as there will be seeds and still some chunks in it and it will take some of the pulp out.... So 1/4 that with 3/4 water and sweetener.... Have to have sweetener-

Best food potassium source I lave found is low sodium V-8 - I make it like a Bloody Mary minus the alcohol... Low sodium has more potassium than the regular V-8. They do make spicy low sodium but it is hard to find. Low calorie too...

When I do MFP I realize how low my potassium intake is, and I have a tendency towards low potassium... So I went back to using Morton Lite salt- which is 1/2 potassium chloride mixed with salt.

Those Emerg-C things I take when I think I'm getting sick has 200mg of potassium in it....

I would not take an over-the-counter pill...

Back to reality tomorrow after a long weekend and an easy short week.  Only 6 workdays until I have PS (TT and mini facelift). Feeling a little nervous...

QOTD:  When I was younger and didn't work full time I clipped and used coupons religiously (though not as religiously as I would see others do).  I only used them for the brands I liked (didn't change brands to get a lower price if I didn't like the other option).  Now I occasionally use them if they are significant in amount (and again only on my brands).  Too much work to manage them.

B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese, roasted peppers/chilis

L: tuna, cottage cheese, pickles

D: leftover braised short-ribs

S: Nut thins and hummus, low-fat cheese-sticks, protein bar

I'm sure it's normal to be nervous about the PS,but I must say I'm jealous. I would love to have at least a tummy tuck so I could lose my shapers. Probably will never happen though since hubby retired. I'm sure you'll be amazed with the results and it will be so worth it.

Thank you! I'm retiring at the end of 2017 so I figured I'd either do it now or never.
