What's on your (Photo) Friday Menu RNYers?
QOTD: I'll have to think about this more - so many things - but right now I wish I never had to worry or stress about anything! Money, loved ones dying, what's going to happen to health insurance in the future, etc. You can tell where my mind's been lately....
Even though we still have a fair amount of lasagna left over, I think I'll try making a beef stew in my Instant Pot today. I saw a recipe the other day meant for a slow cooker, but it shouldn't be too hard to convert. It was sort of a Moroccan-style thing with spices like cinnamon in it, but the only solids were beef and prunes. I guess I'd just cook it like any other stew in the IP, but maybe only add the prunes in the last five minutes or so.
19 months out (and 149 lbs this morning - under goal! But then, all the Miralax and Metamucil I've been taking this week must have kicked in all at once yesterday, so I'm not going to get too excited for another couple of days. Empty intestines can be deceiving!!)
B: plain Greek yogurt with 2 T cranberry sauce
S: double protein shake, coffee with half & half
L: probably a small piece of bariatric-friendly lasagna
D: beef stew
S: another Greek yogurt later if I can afford the calories
exercise: 90-minute yoga class later on this morning
My eating has been out of control, so I need to get back on track starting today!! No weight gain and my clothes still fit, but I feel bleh when I do not make the best choices. I am going to Vegas the end of January so I want to feel good and feel good in my clothes.
QOTD: If I could have any wish, I would wish that everyone would be nicer to others. My kids get harassed a lot and it breaks my heart. Be nice, or STFU!!
On the positive side, I am thankful I was able to get my kids together with all their cousins for a picture for my mom for Christmas. I love how this one turned out!! (my 2 kids are the back row on the right, and middle row in the center). They are ages 7-17.

I know you said you packed double- but did you measure out the sweet potatoes/chicken? I'm not a carb nazi ( I'm drooling at the thought of a bagel with Cream Cheese..) -- but I am a measurement Nazi. So I just want to make sure you *know* just how much you are eating, not eyeballing it.
