What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
Morning! I'm so grateful for the short work week because I'm SO unmotivated. We need more help and despite complaining for months, presenting reorganization plans, etc I haven't been given authorization to hire. I refuse to work longer hours- I don't need any more PTO- I'm maxed out as it is. So what gets done gets done- the rest-- to bad. They can't say I didn't warn them.
QOTD: Hubby goes to watch night service at his church. I never even heard the term "watch night" until I met my hubby. Not sure why it's called that. I'll be home, no company. We never have company-- despite my hubby's deep ties to his church none of them have ever darkened our doorway. I'm kind of glad for it because I just can't relates to a lot of the folks there- but it sad that they don't fellowship even with him outside the doors of the church. Myabe I'll stay up till midnight-- I've been known to set an alarm for 11:50PM :-)
20 months out. 196.2 today. OK scale-- WTF?! I was 190.6 on Monday- 196 today. I *know* I haven't eaten to the extent of gaining 6#'s, come on already!!!
M1: 1/2c oatmeal, 1C milk, 2 boiled eggs

M3: 1.5 oz roast, 1.5oz ham, greens & sweet potato
M4: ?? maybe left over chicken

Is he Baptist? Maybe a Baptist thing, we always called i****chnight growing up. In recent years, it's just been called a NYE party and our pastor does a devotion.
And I hear you on the long hours. I will give a lot, but am not going to work long hours indefinitely for anyone without being paid for it.

QOTD- We always just stay home on New Years Eve. We usually play board games with the kids and I make a big pot of soup. I never make it to midnight. I am usually asleep by 9.
I am wondering if I am in a stall. I was 239 at my doctors appointment 2 weeks ago and 237 this morning. I am 5 weeks out from surgery. I am getting my water in ( at least 80 ounces a day) averaging 60 grams protein and carbs under 20, calories under 500. The fat girl voice inside me is scared that I am going to screw this up too! I am ready to throw my scale off the deck!
My plan for today-
B- 2- soft boiled eggs
L- 2 ounces peppered turkey breast, 1 ounce light havarti cheese
D- 6 shrimp with 1 T. ****tail sauce, made with low sugar ketchup and horseradish.
S- 1 soft boiled egg
Totals 434 calories, 20 gram fat, 3carbs, 60 protein

I'm 5+ weeks out as well. I had a solid stall on weeks 2 and 3!! It's harsh, but it will pass!! Do you have any trouble eating? I am trying desperately to get in my protein w/out protein supplements, but I can't just can't eat enough to get there. I'm going to try shrimp ****tail!

I ate so much shrimp ****tail that I thought I would turn into a shrimp. No lie! I was able to have it Mexican style (I live in Texas...it is a thing here) with ****tail sauce, pico de gallo, and diced avocado. I still love it on occasion now but months 2 through 6...I swear...pretty much four times a week or more. So yummy and for whatever reason it didn't hurt my pouch.
