that's awful about your DIL - and to hear the cracking - ugh! Sends shivers up my spine! I don't know what they do about broken ribs - just let them heal on their own, I guess- I don't know that there'd be a way to set them. I hope they're all on the mend. I'm so excited for them with the upcoming move to India!

QOTD: I generally make a list of things I want to accomplish for the year, not necessarily lose weight etc. More like things I want to do or fun goals. Like read X number of books, go hang gliding/zip line, etc.
Yesterday I actually did really well on my plan until near bedtime when I had 1/2 piece of pound cake. Then I felt like crap for a couple hours. My DH ate the rest of the cake for me so I don't have to look at it anymore. thank goodness.
Today's food
B: curry chicken/decaf/CM milk
L: curry chicken
D: not sure ham/last leftovers?
That made me laugh a little....DH stepped in and took the hit for you, and finished the cake....

Good morning DZ. I'm at work also, and I'm feeling horrible. This head cold is kicking my ass, but I am here and working. I got in 45 minutes early so I can leave early today. My weight is way up after the holiday's and I'm feeling really down about it. I'm stuck in this carb craving cycle after the holiday and being sick on top of it is making it very difficult to kick it. I had a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast!
DZQOTD: Last year I made the new years resolution to log my food everyday, and i'm proud to say that I have a 440+ day streak in myfitnesspal, though it doesn't mean I've logged everything I've eaten, it does mean that I've at least acknowledged my plan, which is a win for me. This year I am needing to get back on track. My weight it up over 160, and I'm bound and determined to get it back down again.
nearly 17 months since surgery
B: Cinnamon Raisin Bagel with cream cheese and a coffee with 1 cream and 1 splenda from Tim Hortons
L: Pizza (or something, my boss is ordering pizza for lunch, but I think I'm going to run down and get a cup of soup from the deli downstairs.
D: Baked Cod (I have to cook this tonight, so this will actually be helpful in keeping me on plan, it's delicious and healthy)
S: I didn't bring anything but sugar free cough drops today, so we'll see how it goes. I'm not feeling particularly hungry with this cold.
no totals yet, though the bagel with cream cheese and coffee was over 400 calories.
I'm still hanging in here, so that is a good thing. To my friends who are friends with me on facebook, if I ever disappear from here on the message boards for any length of time, yell at me in messenger and tell me to get my head out of my ass, since I'll likely be avoiding dealing with this eating ****
