What's on your menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Hi all! Yesterday I saw the movie Fences, it was intense- great acting, but ended abruptly IMO. I opted not to shop at all-- I really didn't need anything so no point in building debt. We did make are cameo appearance at the in-laws. I'm at work today- doing the bare minimums. Traffic was great since everyone is off- I will leave at 4pm sharp :-)
QOTD: I'd live in a suburban community in the US, that's within an hour of a major city. And I'd have a vacation home somewhere warm. I have no desire to live in 'paradise' for all my days, nor do I need to be in a warm climate year round-- just want access to it (hence the vacation home.

Well my eating has been horrible lately. Not going to lie. I feel like **** My belly and my digestive are not liking me too much.
One thing is good I did not drink. I am still sober. So I will take that. I now know that I can't eat what I want. Not just because of weight gain but because I feel like ****
I had the worse food hangover. Horrible.
My eating for yesterday was not bad. I am starting off good this morning. Looking at old photos of myself to show me what can happen.
B:Yogurt with berries
L:Meat of some sort
D:Steak
Threw away all of the Christmas cookies. White flour doesn't agree with me at all.
The holidays can be hard. Mix family with food sometimes can be a train wreck.
I got through thank goodness.
Have a great day.
I have to agree--food and family (especially the barely tolerated ones)are a really scary mix. I ate 1 Hawaiian roll and a good size piece of cornbread that I would never have eaten at home. And I had to keep reminding myself how miserable the 3 pies would make me feel or I would have been in them too. The farther out I get some things get but the sweets still scream my name at 4 years out. Darn sweets!
